Question
editHello BettyandLou, I am researching Pets.com and would like to know more about what happened. I looked through the SEC documents, and according to page 9 of this document, only $102,951 was paid to Series A stockholders. Additionally, page 8 says that common stockholders may not get their money back, and this document says that they expected not to pay back all the money they promised. On top of this, the company did donate a lot of their product before liquidating. Personally I think the truth is that not all the stockholders ended up getting paid the amount they should have, whether out of necessity or to avoid expenses. Would you mind exchanging contact information to talk more about this? Do you have any insight on the SEC filings or any other concrete evidence? There are a lot of good and bad business lessons here, so I want to be sure to get it right. Thank you, WWWResearchDude (talk) 23:43, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
