Blacklisted references

edit

Hi Bexaendos! When removing <ref>s using blacklisted links, as you did in this edit, please be sure not to leave orphaned refs behind (e.g. these). An easy way to check is to see if the page ends up in the hidden category Category:Pages with broken reference names after your edit. Thanks! :Jay8g [VTE] 03:16, 1 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Sorry I wasn't paying attention to this, I'll be more careful when removing blocked references.--Bexaendos (talk) 12:33, 1 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please note that according to WP:RSP, links to articles published on or after 12 March 2014 must be whitelisted before they can be used. However, you are removing links from articles published before 12 March 2014, which are not in fact blacklisted. So, can you please self-revert those edits? Thanks. Mellk (talk) 15:20, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Yes, of course, now that I've noticed this moment, I'll deal with them. Thanks Bexaendos (talk) 15:23, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks again. Mellk (talk) 15:25, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Stale AIV reports

edit

Hi, there's no need to file AIV reports for users that have not edited in weeks or months. The header at AIV states that reports there are only appropriate for clear-cut ongoing disruption. Since blocking is intended to be preventative, rather than punitive, it will have no effect in curbing disruptive behavior for users who are already not actively editing; indeed, the final warning may have done the job, and blocking per a stale report would then certainly appear punitive. Hey, thank you for the advice, now it's clear to me what to do. Bexaendos (talk) 22:58, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi bexaendos! I noticed you reverted numerous edits on the List of active separatist movements in Africa page. Why was this? 70.115.168.51 (talk) 19:48, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Because you have used a string of sources that are not credible, such as facebook. Avoid this source in the future.--Bexaendos (talk) 19:52, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
You also removed references to the UNPO which is used as a reference in many other parts of this same article. 70.115.168.51 (talk) 19:55, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Feel free to edit the article further according to wikipedia policies.--Bexaendos (talk) 19:57, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Rollback granted

edit

Hi Bexaendos. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 09:13, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi there! I'm the Treasurer of Be the Change PAC, and was adding it to her page. Thank you for letting me know about the need for the source.

Would this article be a good enough reliable source for the additional info?

Pavel Fuks

edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that You were wrong about the evaluation of my edits in the article about Pavel Fuks. For example, the encyclopedic style of the article involves placing all points of view on this or that issue, which you probably forgot about, knowingly or unknowingly erasing the information that Fuks has nothing to do with the story with the swastika in Kharkiv. You didn't even take the time to research the source I referenced when adding new data to the article. In addition, you needlessly deleted information about the awards of the subject of the article, as well as information about his many years of charitable activities in Kharkiv under fire from your fellow citizens. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. BorborNeoneo (talk) 14:15, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You have repeatedly tried to promote Pavel Fuks article with irrelevant information and dubious sources. Which raises a lot of questions as being a paid editor, once you do this please disclose this information. Bexaendos (talk) 10:09, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
What kind of dubious sources did you mean? My information took from AS.BorborNeoneo (talk) 13:34, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
