This looks good - I have nothing to add beyond the excellent reviewer comments. Dr. Miller — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amille75 (talk • contribs) 04:05, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
a) General Comments
i) The main take home message is that Tephrosia vogelli can be used as a natural insecticide. Additionally, this crop increases nitrogen content in the soil. Therefore, other crops could be grown in the presence of Tephrosia vogelli in arid and poor soil environment. Also, Tephrosia vogelli grows better when it is grown alongside other crops.
ii) I really liked how this contribution is very clear to understand. The word usage and syntax make it an easy read. Additionally, I liked the way in which the contribution was set up: introduction, the three uses of Tephrosia vogelli, and a conclusion. However, I disliked (and would like to make a suggestion on) how this contribution did not explicitly state the evolutionary implications of Tephrosia vogelli. Although the implications are implied, I think stating them explicitly will serve to better strengthen the contribution.
iii) I did not find anything that does not make sense.
iV) While reading this article, I had the following question: Would Tephrosia vogelli be having a mutualistic affect when grown in the presence of other crops? It grows more and causes other crops to grow more when growing in the presence of other crops.
b) Grammer
i) 1. In the first paragraph, sentence 3, I would suggest removing the comma after “applied.”
2. In paragraph 2 sentence 2, I would suggest removing the comma after “soil.” 3. In the last paragraph, the last sentence, I would suggest making the following changes: “increase” to “increasing” and “remove” to “removing.”
ii) Most of the scientific names are correctly written (italicized with the genus name capitalized and epithet with a lower case). However, there were three instances that the genus name was used without the epithet. In those three instances the genus name was not italicized. A suggestion I would like to make is to italicize or underline the genus name.
c) References
i) There are only 4 distinct references. Since this assignment requires 5, I would suggest incorporating another reference into your contribution.
ii) Yes, all the references are from a scientific journal.
iii) The basic format of the citations for each reference is correct. If possible, I would suggest adding in the first name initial for each author for each reference. Another suggestion I would like to make would be to maybe add in the page numbers each article is found on.

a. General comments: i. What is the main take home message of this article?
1. Tephrosia vogelii might not actually be a great crop itself but it can help other crops do better. It can be used as a pesticide to fend of insects and allow farmers to get more out of their crops. Also it is good at getting nutrients back into the soil for other plants. Overall it could be a helpful plant to grow alongside crops.
ii. What do you like about this Wikipedia contribution? What do you dislike?
1. I thought it flowed well and emphasized its unique qualities that make it a good helped plant. Also I thought this was a cool article because it didn’t talk about a crop, rather how it could help crops grow better. So indirectly make better crops for the world.
iii. Is there anything written that doesn’t make sense?
1. All made sense to me
iv. What questions do you have as you are reading the text? Be specific.
1. Does it increase any other nutrients in the soil?
b. Grammar i. Do you see any spelling errors? Are there any periods or commas that are missing or out-of-place?
1. In the third sentence of the last paragraph the first word “however” isn’t capitalized and should be 2. In that same sentence remover the word “so” after the second comma 3. In the last sentence of the whole thing “increase” should be increasing and “remove” should be removing
ii. Are all scientific names written correctly, italicized with the genus name capitalized and the specific epithet starting with a lower case?
1. The genus is used alone three times in the second paragraph and is not italicized so probably should change that.
c. References i. Are there five distinct references?
1. No there are only 4 you should add 1
ii. Are each of the references from a scientific journal?
1. Yes
iii. Are the references cited correctly?
1. No they are missing volume, issue, and page numbers 2. I also don’t think they include all the authors and first initials 3. You don’t need in text citations if you put the numbers

General comments:
- The very first time you mention Tephrosia vogelli, make it a link (blue) to the website: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tephrosia_vogelii. Likewise, superscripts for citations should be included at the end of the sentences they are relevant to.
- Take out the parenthetical citations.
- I really liked how the paragraphs transitioned well from one to the other. The entire page flowed really well.
Grammar
- In your last paragraph, you state, “however, as this is not a direct measurement, so the crop yield might be over or underestimated.” Capitalize the h in however.
References
- You need one more citation. These citations don’t have any page numbers as well. If they do have page numbers (since they are from journals), please include them.
