editPlease do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1][2][3] MrOllie (talk) 21:29, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. MrOllie (talk) 23:00, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- the monks bread is not inappropiate, its talked asbout on the page, and is the monks site. the old link was an archive of the monks bread page. Makes sense to update it. The wrecking yard, i think your right, best not to have anything, that was your spam link i removed. The auction announcements is highly relevant, not sure why you would remove a whole section but you probably didnt read it. please spend time reading items before going willy nilly deleting others hard work. if you keep it up i will have no choice but to block your editing abilities Bighead00777 (talk) 23:06, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- Your spam site is not a valid reference and cannot support such a section. Re: the monks, per WP:EL we put up one link to an official site, and that will be the one to the monastery and not a web store.

I am absolutely not going to stop removing spam links, so you should go ahead and do that right now. MrOllie (talk) 23:09, 7 July 2023 (UTC)- the link to there bread store was already there, it was archived. why would the archive be relevant but not the real one? You shouldnt just go thru ones history and delete things in mass without reading. anyhow, the bread. The monks are known for there bread, it is how they support themselves and what they are known for. I really dont think there making a killing off bread and a wiki link. The page also has a long section about there bread making the link relevant. But im open to your opposing thoughts Bighead00777 (talk) 23:14, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- The archive shouldn't have been there either. That an error has persisted for some time does not mean no one can subsequently fix it (in this case by removing the improper link). As I've already pointed out, Wikipedia policy permits one link to an official site, and in that case it should be to information about the abbey and not a poorly designed web store. MrOllie (talk) 23:16, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- I kinda see your point, but the monks have more than one official site. I believe they have three or four, as they also do spiritual retreats, which i dont think is relevent, however the bread,it is what they are known for. If you are doing this for anti religious reasons, its ok, but these are like 20 monks living in the woods bothering no one. And i assure you, im not a monk trying to spam wiki lol. - They get one link, per policy. Also, I'm still waiting for that block you promised. MrOllie (talk) 23:36, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
