Introduction

DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati Secondary School, Jawalakhel Lalitpur is in the field of education based on the century long legacy of DAV Movement.

The Lalitpur based DAV School is fundamentally known for its Vedic Education and has gained the academic excellence, and competency with the authorized curriculum of the Government.

It is a premier secondary school, which core spirit is to impart both GYAN and VIGYAN . As such it's known for ideal education that imparts- 'the wisdom of the East with the technical advancement of the West'.[1]

The school was founded on July 9, 1992 in Kathmandu.

This School has been registered and run under the act of the Government of Nepal.

It follows Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Education Board (NEB) pattern of education. It is also registered under Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College Trust and Management Society.

The Chairman is Shree Anil Kedia. The Principal is Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao. Dr. Rao holds Phd.in School Management. [2]

Description

DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati, Patan is situated in Province No 3, also the capital city of the nation.

It is known for its hundreds of annual co-curricular activities.

So it has been taken as the place that has academic excellence and overall development in general.[3]

Some have even listed it as one of the best school of Lalitpur district in Nepal.[4]

Following the prescribed curriculum, the school is designed in such a way that it takes all the potentialities and capabilities of a child into consideration for his/her all-round development.

Infrastructure

The school occupies 34 ropani lands in Jawalakhel. It has world class infrastructure that any top schools across the world have given to their students.

The classrooms, libraries, laboratories, computer labs, indoor sports stadium, music hall, Vipassana hall, dance hall, auditorium, language rooms etc. are of world-class.[5]

DAV Kindergarten has also been operated with qualified and well-trained staff and has kids friendly environment, equipments, motherly love, care and guidance.[6]

DAV is a multilingual school and also teaches international languages like German[7],French, Hindi and Chinese.
