April 2016
editPlease stop your disruptive editing, as you did at London Games Festival. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. The article is not about 2016. Stop promoting the ongoing festival. Article is about the Festival, not just one year. Bgwhite (talk) 05:09, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- The article is also a complete and utter mess. I removed the TOC crap at the beginning. Put external links in right spot. Used proper lists instead of dots. Removed links in the middle of the page that belongs in the external links section... no external links in the main article. Alot more cleaning needs to happen. Bill:
- Hello. I am trying to merge our edits.
- Before the edit, there were very few info on the Wikipedia page. I merged your edit about the external links. And you mentioned on my page that you cleaned up with link symbols, I will go check now. Please let me know anything else that was not merged. I hope to avoid reverting each otber's words like last time with my 1000+ words gone.
- I was surprised my 1k words contribution was deleted without discussion. The 2016 events were part of the London Games Festival, other events were only mentioned but not listed. Providing the info for those events is needed for the sake of info, so people don't have to find the information elsewhere. Do you have any problem against putting relevant info in the 2016 section?
- The London Games Festival page was pretty much an abandoned page before 2016. So 2016 events are important

editHi -- It's not appropriate to copy and paste a Wikipedia article in order to rename it. Doing so fragments the edit history for the article. Please see WP:PAGEMOVE for more information on the appropriate way to rename articles. Regards, NapoliRoma (talk) 08:42, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
Bill: Thanks. I just did it again using wikipedia procedures.
