Lichfield Civil Parishes

edit

Why are there now two templates showing Lichfield civil parishes? See for example Alrewas. Jan1naD (talkcontrib) 09:00, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Lichfield Civil Parishes

edit

Hello Jan1nad
I have been working on Articles about Staffordshire villages and created Navigation templates for all the Civil Parish districts in Staffordshire as theses districts had not been covered. I realized after I had created them that one had already been created for the Litchfield District. Nothing more than a mistake. you are welcome to delete one or the other. Template calls

edit

Hi, just a note on using templates in articles that the namespace is not required and should be omitted. Thus {{Lincolnshire}} will do fine. Keith D (talk) 18:50, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

South Staffs Civil Parish template

edit

Hi, good to see the new template but it seems to be conflicting with the Default Sort Key template. Parishes with no DSK are now appearing under S in Category:South Staffordshire, those with DSK are now showing a red warning flag on their article page. Not tech savvy enough to explain better. Template talk:Civil Parishes of South Staffordshire

edit

Hi, I left a message on the template talk page...

Should the two villages Acton Trussell and Bednall be combined with the hamlet Teddesley Hay to form the conjoined civil parish of Acton Trussell, Bednall & Teddesley Hay for the template? (as shown on the south staffs website, [1]) Keomike (talk) 20:21, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hopton, Staffordshire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sir William Brereton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

River Tean

Well done for making a start on the River Tean article, good to see that there are some new articles being created in this area. Jokulhlaup (talk) 17:39, 4 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.  Template:Civil Parishes of Lichfield has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. (I'm surprised that Jan1naD didn't handle this at the time that he confronted you about the duplication.) JohnAlbertRigali (talk) 07:05, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
