Thank you for contributing to the Four-wheel drive article. Before reverting all the previous contributions to this article, please review the following: Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English Remember that millions of people have been taught to use a form of English different from yours, including different spellings, grammatical constructions, and punctuation. For the English Wikipedia, while a nationally predominant form should be used, there is no preference among the major national varieties of English; none is more "correct" than any other. However, there is certain etiquette generally accepted on Wikipedia, as listed here.

If an article is predominantly written in one type of English, aim to conform to that type rather than provoke conflict by changing to another.

Thank you for changing all occurrences of the word center to centre. However, this is against Wiki policy.
Please read all the guidelines contained in Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English that include the following two additional statements:
Stay with established spelling.
Follow the dialect of the first contributor.
The article has been in the American dialect for a long time, and there is no clear reason to change it. You should not change the spelling used in an article wholesale from one variant to another, and there is no compelling reason to do so. Other editors are justified in reverting such changes.

Could you stop reverting my corrections

edit

If you have problems with my edits to the 4WD page please let me know, do not just revert the edits. Although the 4WD article is very accurate the introduction is riddled with errors, which I corrected. I think it is everyone's best interests to make Wiki pages as accurate as possible and the Four Wheel Drive article is not a gleaming example of this.

i.e. All-wheel drive is just a marketing term invented to sell primarily on-road 4WD-type cars

This is completely inaccurate AWD is no JUST a marketing term.
AWD is very different from 4WD and I explained the differences in my edits.

There are also blatant contradictions in this introduction as well. So please instead of immediately reverting my edits tell me what your disagreement is. If you feel that my edit was inaccurate the please let me know why so this can be resolved. Thank You H20h0us391 00:41, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It *is* just a marketing term. I wish you lot would stop editing it otherwise. Billzilla.

License tagging for Image:VTR1000F.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:VTR1000F.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:10, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Pi Day Common Date Format

edit

Let's come to a rational consensus on whether to include "the more common" in the Pi Day article. Please see my section Talk:Pi_Day#Common_Date_Format. Teimu.tm (talk) 05:29, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

With the end result of the 'rational consensus' being everything anyone not a moderator here said was ignored and my final point of how hypocritical you lot are being deleted. It's poor moderation that makes Wikipedia little better than Conservapedia at times. You should be ashamed of yourselves.Billzilla (talk) 23:21, 29 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Dr Karl

Dr Karl is a great children’s author, please do not vandalise this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr Karl fan (talkcontribs) 10:16, 4 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you need more help with the page, feel free to leave me a message. I don't actually know anything about Dr. Karl, but the vandalism problems seemed pretty clear-cut. Zagalejo^^^ 00:55, 9 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Protection

edit

To whoever looks after this page (apart from me) I'm more than happy to leave it protected. There's a serial nutcase that has spent years harassing myself, people I know, and was one of the reasons a good forum was closed down. I don't need to change much on the page so I'm totally fine with it being locked or whatever you want to call it. Billzilla (talk) 02:55, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Drifting (motorsport), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Motoring. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dr. Rotraut Jampa Wurst moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Dr. Rotraut Jampa Wurst, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hatchens (talk) 05:24, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello I was just practicing putting in the article and was about to start putting in sources when you moved my article on Dr Rotraut Jampa Wurst, who is a significant member of my International Buddhist Sangha. I was shocked to find no article on Wikipedia about her so I started writing last year on her. I have been talking to the senior executive of Sakyadhita to get more information on her. I know the article was a bit messy but I didn't even have time to finish it, and submit the sources and bring it up to Wikipedia standard. I have been making the page whilst watching how to create and make pages on YouTube.

I couldn't work out what was going on so I clicked on "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page as I thought that might give me access to the article again.

So I can't see how to work on the article in draft space? Could you please tell me how to do that?
