Discussion of edits

I also wanted to let you know about this discussion. --Scray (talk) 10:47, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please give an explanation in clear English of what "FibroTest is only valid in strict respect of analytical and pre-analytical recommendations" is supposed to mean on the talk page. I have removed it again. We are writing for our readers, not to satisfy your concerns. Fences&Windows 01:00, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

"analytical recommandations" of a blood test is a document explaining the conditions needed for performing the blood sample (kind of tube, temperature, handling, etc.). "pre-analytical recommandations" is the document explaining the raw conditions for the test to be interpretable (not acute hepatitis, etc.). Is it more clear ? How can I help ?Biopredictive (talk) 09:52, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
any hint on this ? Biopredictive (talk) 14:44, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Username

edit

Your username does not meet Wikipedia's username policy because is an organisation name. Wikipedia editors are not meant to edit on behalf of organisations. If, after reviewing that policy, you believe your username does not violate policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you can file for a change of username, or you can simply create a new account and start using that one instead. Thank you. Fences&Windows 01:02, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It was chosen to be perfectly clear and transparent for pages we edit, in order to avoid COI. Do we have to change it ?Biopredictive (talk) 09:49, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I can see the logic in that, but they ain't my rules. An admin could block this account at any time. I won't suggest they do, but it is best if people don't editing on behalf of an organisation. You might also decide that you like Wikipedia and want to contribute outside your direct professional area, in which case a more neutral username would be appropriate. A potential COI can be flagged up on your userpage, it doesn't need to be in the username. Fences&Windows 23:32, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
understood. I will ask for a username change following the process. Biopredictive (talk) 14:39, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
