This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Why was I blocked? I was just adding relevant and recent information to player pages? I apologize if I accidentally vandalized or incorrectly edited a page! Birdsfan415 (talk) 02:25, 15 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

It's a good idea to actually read the block notice or message, if there is one, before you request unblock. While sometimes they are minimally informative, justifying confusion on the blockees' part, they usually do explain the policy reason for the block, and devoting an unblock request to asking what you were blocked for is not a valid reason to unblock. While it probably will get you a response, most admins are decidedly unimpressed by someone who makes such an unnecessary request when they could easily read the block notice and get their answer, and this will not redound to your credit in future requests (I'm not saying you couldn't get unblocked, just that you might not get the benefit of the doubt on a tight judgement call).

In your case, I will do you the favor of reiterating that you're blocked for sockpuppetry ... i.e., we believe that for reasons we can't always go into (and usually don't), that you're actually another user pretending to be a completely new user. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:58, 15 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
