Do not add personal information about other contributors to Wikipedia without their explicit permission, as you did at Talk:Gardnerian Wicca. Wikipedia operates on the principle that every contributor has the right to remain completely anonymous. Posting personal information about another user is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's harassment policy. Wikipedia's policy on this issue is strictly enforced and your edits have been reverted and/or suppressed, not least because such information can appear on web searches. Wikipedia's privacy policy is to protect the privacy of every user, including you. Persistently adding personal information about other contributors will result in being blocked from editing. Jack Chanek's (who is Ian McKeachie) youtube channel is public and he encourages people to subscribe to it. You're basically asserting that Bob Barker wouldn't want you to know he's the former host of the price is right. Additionally, the channel has been cited (and removed) because he posted it as authoritative information. Biropalmistry (talk) 23:47, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Obviously the English Wikipedia Oversight team feels differently as your edit has been hidden. Peaceray (talk) 01:36, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Gardnerian Wicca, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Where is the citation to support consider by pagans to be the earliest recognized tradition of Wicca? Peaceray (talk) 03:37, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
