Please don't take offense, this is for couple of reasons.

  1. I hate infoboxes.
  2. The article is not long enough to justify having an infobox.
  3. Infoboxes look ugly.
  4. IMO infoboxes contribute to WP:BITE. Seeing something first up in the edit window that they simply cannot understand would scare away most timorous newbies, IMO.

If you disagree with me over this, feel free to comment at my talk page. It's not such a big deal, anyway. Is there a guideline that I don't know of that recommends infoboxes? Cheers, Moreschi Deletion! 22:16, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
