University of Kaiserslautern-Landau moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, University of Kaiserslautern-Landau, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:09, 22 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

The core of this page, including the interview link, were copied from the German version of that page, https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rheinland-Pf%C3%A4lzische_Technische_Universit%C3%A4t_Kaiserslautern-Landau . Since several english article were now reporting incorrect outdated info, I thought it would be helpful to at least create a stub article for the new University. As to notability, both predecessor universities apparently were notable enough for their own article. I have no idea what would count as an "independent source" for a major research university in Germany (maybe a link to the state law which prescribed the merger, https://landesrecht.rlp.de/bsrp/document/jlr-UniNStruktGRPpG4 , which of course is German only, would count?). Anyway, if this kind of contribution is of no interest to english Wikipedia, so be it; just delete the draft. BlackFingolfin (talk) 13:03, 22 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
