Balaton (car)

Hi there, adding images to wikipedia is pretty straightforward (see WP:PIC) but because most images belong to someone, even where they have otherwise been plastered all over the net, there are very strict guidelines about what can and can't be used on wikipedia and/or which articles a single image might be used in. (See WP:IUP). These won't always prevent an image being loaded, but if it doesn't meet the critera, or if its copyright status is incorrectly stated, then it will get deleted very quickly. Many obscure cars (which no longer exist for anyone to take a picture of) were depicted on advertising brocures or publicity photographs which are out on the net somewhere and these can sometimes be used if no other image is available (See WP:NFC). Hope this helps. Finally, though there are vast numbers of policys, guidelines etc, etc etc. These are all aimed at getting the best information on wikipedia, and making sure it stays. I removed the image link because externally linked images don't work in Wikipedia. As suggested above, please see the Wikipedia:Picture tutorial for help in uploading an image to Wikipedia.
