Please try to assume good faith while interacting with other editors, such as the talk page for List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes. I know changes, especially repeated ones, from inexperienced editors can be frustrating but please try to put yourself in their shoes. Guiding these editors to editing in a more appropriate way will have far better results than lashing out at them. When reverting their changes, take a moment to leave a note on their talk page explaining why. If they've not been welcomed yet, consider adding a welcome template. List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes

You've made some good contributions to the List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes article however it remains without any references. Can you help improve it there as well?--RadioFan (talk) 20:01, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

reversion of names of large numbers

I do not feel that a complete reversion of my edit was appropriate.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but your edits were based almost entirely on good faith -- please make sure any edits you make are based in fact. See your talk page for more information. Black Yoshi (talk) 02:01, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
Your sorrow is noted; however if it does not lead to action, of what use is it? Your use of the rationale of "good faith" is nonsensical. Perhaps you can find someone who can understand it and could explain it to me? The text indicated that 2**10=1000 is an approximation. It is quite a nice one, and useful. ( Martin | talkcontribs 03:06, 10 January 2011 (UTC))
What system of logic do you use that suggests that I'm not making any sense in chalking your unconstructive edits up to good faith? I've done exactly the same thing as you -- one of my first edits to Waluigi was viewed as a good faith edit, because the information wasn't necessarily needed on a general, all-encompassing encyclopedia such as this. (In fact, the info in question I got from Super Mario Wiki, which is only about as reliable a source as Wikipedia itself.) Basically, the information you added to Names of large numbers wasn't necessarily needed, however useful it may have been -- to me, it was more a waste of space than a constructive edit. Black Yoshi (talk) 00:42, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

I got your message. It is a detailed comment that starts "I hope you’re doing well. There’s something I wanted to ask you, concerning Names of large numbers. Your last edit to the aide-memoire section, where you "simplified the mathematics" wasn’t really necessary in my opinion. We never simplify math on Wikipedia; maybe they do on the Simple English Wikipedia, but not here." I have not yet reviewed what you have posted since it is lengthy, but let me react to just the introductory paragraph that I just quoted:

  • You say my edit wasn't really necessary.

Are you saying that the only edits that should be made are the ones that are really necessary? This view makes no sense to me. Do you mean that the resulting paragraph is worse? Or only the same?

  • You say "We never simplify math on Wikipedia".

Who is "we". You say "Never". Never simplify? I read this to mean that my motivation in changing the "aide memoire" paragraph, at least as expressed in the "change summary", is suspect. This also makes no sense to me.

On the previous edit, you posted that you restored my edits that you reverted, but I found that what you added to the paragraph was a sentence that said something about a comma or space goes after every three digits. This did not fairly represent the text I posted, although I am sure you feel that it did, assuming your good faith. Therefore, I hope you can understand that I prefer that you find another person to discuss your ideas with. I do not feel that you and I can productively combine to edit this paragraph, because of our differing assumptions. Certainly you must be able to find someone closer to your views to work with on this. Best of luck! ( Martin | talkcontribs 13:31, 25 March 2011 (UTC))

Yes I agree with you. We are not able to communicate with each other well. While I do think it would be good for a few people to collaborate on the change, I feel I am not that other person. ( Martin | talkcontribs 18:07, 25 March 2011 (UTC))

The ACTUAL Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated episodes

Someone deleted the accurate information of the upcoming episodes, episodes that premiered up here and Canada. You have obviously been frustrated by the constant fake Moon light and Which With is Which vandalisms, I can assure you these are NOT the episodes. Episode 15 is called "The Wild Brood" and has monster bikers in it. I know of it because I originally saw the information on this site and later found the episode while watching Teletoon up here in Canada. I eventually found a torrent for it as well and the episodes listed along with it "Escape from Mystery Manor" were also real as well. They all premiered here in Canada only. I cannot find the information in any of the previous edit pages in the history but I know it's real, I watched it and I can give you a link to a torrent of "The Wild Brood" as well as show you the page at TV Tropes that is LOADED with references to this episode and others that have been shown. They are real and someone replaced them with fakes at some point. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Special:Contributions/RMul (talk) 02:33, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for the information -- I'll edit the article accordingly. The only reason I requested it to be protected was because of your incessent need to exclaim "New episodes are coming (insert date here)!" and because...well, I didn't believe you. For that I sincerely apologize; I've made a lot of mistakes here on Wikipedia, and this is one of them -- see the rest of my talk page for proof. In the future, please refrain from making such unneeded comments... Black Yoshi (talk) 02:48, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
That was not me, I'm most assured that was not me as I have never talked to you before nor did I know any of this editing vandalism was taking place until today when I was trying to remember the names of the episodes and came here to remind myself of them. So I don't see why you think I'M somehow the person who was doing all the vandalising because I would've put up the accurate names, not the fake ones they kept replacing them with. --Special:Contributions/RFMul (talk) 05:50, 28 March 2011 (UTC)RMull

Also, here is the more accurate information in full as it originally appeared before it was replaced, it can be found near the bottom of this page: http://www.toonzone.net/forums/showthread.php?t=229197&page=42

Oh (censored), I am so sorry -- your IP looked similar to the one who vandalized the page, sorry about that...anyway, are you absolutely sure that those are the real episode names? Black Yoshi (talk) 18:26, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Positive, they premiered in Canada on teletoon I've seen Wild Brood and I've heard references towards the other 3 that cannot be hoaxes. No one would go through that much trouble to write out synopsis' on this and on TV tropes just to vandalise the page here. I even checked the schedule they were premiering here on Teletoon. I missed them but I know they're real. I'm going to make sure I catch them at their appropriate times up here just to make sure. I know when it's on now. --Special:Contributions/RMul (talk) 19:35, 28 March 2011 (UTC)RMul

RE: Divisibility rule edit

Regarding your (undo) edit "Undid revision 425150029 by 123.243.217.67 Sorry, but that's not a viable reference -- it's simply redirecting further down in the article...": the reference led to the discussion page of the article, not to the article itself. If that was the misunderstanding, could you please undo your edit; if this is not the reason for your edit, could you please explain further? Thanks, 123.243.217.67 (talk) 02:18, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Thank-you for those resources, they explain my misunderstanding well. 123.243.217.67 (talk) 21:55, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Because You Left page protection

I requested page protection for Because You Left, so hopefully that helps stop the vandalism. And I'm also not quite sure how I got mixed up in this (I just reviewed the article for GA and forgot to remove it from my watchlist). :) Ruby2010 comment! 19:53, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated

A lot of people on Amazon.com are under the assumption that Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is 2 seasons long each series being 13 episodes long because of Cartoon Network. The online game even advertises episodes 14-26 as season two. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/scoobydoomysteryinc/crystalcove/index.html (look at the badges.) What should be done? JamesAlan1986 (talk) 16:58, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

They're probably just going off of what Cartoon Network is saying -- seeing as Teletoon and every other network which airs the show has aired it in one continuous run, and CN alone has billed the back half of Season 1 as Season 2, I wouldn't listen to them... Black Yoshi (talk) 12:16, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
Okay. Hey I need some help here, someone keeps removing my note about Shaggy and Velma on episode 22: "Shaggy tries to get back with Velma in this episode but Velma turns him down claiming she no longer has the same feelings for him as before." but yet it's okay for this to be noted on episode 23: "Fred mentions why he didn't want to lose Daphne because Fred's Mom abandoned him when he was a baby." What should I do someone won't stop removing it and if Fred and Daphne's stuff can be mentioned shouldn't there at least be something mentioned about the relationship between Shaggy & Velma? JamesAlan1986 (talk) 05:07, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Actually, that someone was me -- and I do apologize for that. I just wasn't convinced it should be included. It's there now -- it's just part of the summary itself rather than a separate note. Black Yoshi (talk) 11:25, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
It's all good man, thanks for adding that, do gotta question isn't the thing a bit too revealing now? I do other pages too not just the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated page, I did fix the List of What's New, Scooby-Doo? episodes so it didn't look messed up as it had been. It turned out to be a good edit fix. I do question the imbd reference though for episodes 25 and 26 since they haven't been released yet but that's me and why I haven't changed it cause I do question it but it is what it is lol. Also I added this note to episode 7: "This is the second episode in the Scooby-Doo franchise to have one of the gang pose as one of The Hex Girls, the first being in the episode "The Vampire Strikes Back" from What's New, Scooby-Doo?." mainly as a fun fact like the one I added about Linda Cardellini making a guest appearence in episode 21. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 00:49, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
In my mind it is a bit too revealing, and believe me, I'd have done something about that a long time ago if those pesky IPs and new users wouldn't keep reverting my edits and adding in things which are pure speculation...anyway, as for your second note in Episode 7, I don't think that should be mentioned there, as it's all but irrelevant to the show. And please do not remove the wikilink brackets around The Hex Girls. Black Yoshi (talk) 02:56, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Just so you know the only reason I removed the wikilink brackets on the second one on the the note cause most wiki pages don't have two links for the same thing on the same page. Usually or from what I've seen. I do agree with you and I think they need to slim down a bit on what is being posted that's why they do that whole truce thing and the whole giving of opinions and what not so it's all mutual. but I will say episode 23 is really erking me the most.
I watched the episode they didn't get the puzzle piece Pericles has the puzzle piece and they already knew about it when they got it in episode 17, they just didn't know what it was called and the whole A warning from Pericles he didn't warn them I wrote the dialogue from the episode to show it that its irrelevant at least that's my OPINION but I don't know. Professor Pericles' Cryptic Message In Episode 23 but whatever. It's really messed up that's for sure. JamesAlan1986 (talk), 17:44 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Sorry about that -- I went and looked at the article, and indeed, the first three words in the summary for Episode 7 are "The Hex Girls"; silly me for not seeing that. Anyway, indeed, one is not supposed to have multiple wikilinks to the same page within the same article, and especially within the same paragraph, and as such, I have removed the brackets around the second instance of "The Hex Girls." As for Episode 23, I'll have to watch that myself to see what actually goes on; until then, I'm not touching anything... Black Yoshi (talk) 20:53, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
It's okay, I just knew something was wrong when I saw that second one. I will add that I did put Episode 26 as TBA because imbd.com is not a reliable source seeing as Episode 25's title was wrong so I do not think Episode 26's title on there is right either and I do think it should be left as such until the episode is shown on Teletoon. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 04:33, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Is there a way to request a lock on the two pages? Cause someone posted that there would be 7 volumes and there's only been 2 released so far and none of us know how many volumes WB is gonna put out especially seeing as they are 4 episoded DVDs but we dont know if that'll change later or not. --JamesAlan1986 (talk) 04:59, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Yes, there is -- WP:RFPP. Just follow the instructions in the template at the top of the page. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 21:49, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
I just tried it I hope I did it right. If not I'm sure you can fix it, I'm still kinda new to this but I'm trying to learn. It's just unreferenced volumes don't need to be posted on there I think especially as the series has yet to finish and we don't know if WB's may change them to 5 episode disc towards the end or whatever you know? JamesAlan1986 (talk) 05:02, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Re: List of Mario games by year...

Contrary to your claim that "There are many more Virtual Console games listed in the article", there is none. Therefore, just having those two will look out of place. Also, given the large number of Mario VC releases and that, unlike the Super Mario Advance series and the NES Classics, they are simply ports, it will lead to over-saturation to list every time the game was re-released unchanged. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 16:45, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc.

I can not find where the information for the section "Ratings (in millions)" is found in the article "List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes". It is not online the way I see it. Therefore it possibly could not be a reliable. Do you possibly know where this information is found? For all the episodes 15 and up there is no information for it. The information is the "Ratings (in millions)" section be deleted if there is no source. --User: Furtie fert ferts

That's because it is not cited in the article. I'm pretty sure if you looked on TV.com or some site like that, you'll be able to find ratings for all of the episodes, including for Episode 15 and forward... Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 21:50, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
A lot of Wikipedia pages have unreferenced ratings this is due to that there is no way to find these postings. Most pages are based off of, as BlackYoshi said above, what is posted on sites such as TV.com and so on. I do not think most TV episode ratings are posted to the public. I'm not 100% sure on this but I have yet to come across any outside TV.com. Sorry we can't be more help but there you go. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 05:14, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

New talk lol

I wanted to let you know I did post on the Talk:List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes that we both have discussed and agreed that the List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes page is getting too revealing and that because of this I removed certain revealing aspects of the show and slimmed it down to the more important stuff that needs to be posted in the "Overarching Mystery Clue(s)" section. I hope it is okay that I did that. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 06:10, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey I just found this out but we can not go by the Teletoon's airdates we have to go by Cartoon Network's release dates so the episodes that have not aired yet have been hidden until they air on Cartoon Network. Please do not change this back. Please check my talk page and you will see what I am talking about. The last episode can be listed and they are still there just hidden until they air are Cartoon Network. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 10:41, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
We are to go by country of origin as this page says: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Television/How_to_write_an_episode_article#Broadcast JamesAlan1986 (talk) 13:00, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Please read the following conversation that is on my talk page: ::::<ref name=Airdate>{{cite web|url=http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/scooby-doo-mystery-incorporated/episodes-season-1/305448|title=Scooby-Doo: Mystery... Episodes |publisher=TV Guide|accessdate=2011-06-11}}</ref>
On every subsequent airdate copy and paste just
<ref name=Airdate/>
and you'll be set! Why would you want Canadian airdates for an American show? It should only have the American airdates. The 2nd page contains the other episodes. But hey, I'm headed to bed now, so if you have any more questions, I'll get to them when I wake up. CTJF83 09:39, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Teletoon's is a Canadian channel and they are posted on the page but no references are posted to show how and when they aired as proof, you know? JamesAlan1986 (talk) 09:44, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
You caught me before I left....There should only be American airdates, since it is an American show, correct? See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Television/How_to_write_an_episode_article#Broadcast for part of an explanation. CTJF83 09:50, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
OH! Well then I guess that page needs edited then and changed probably should have the unreleased episodes hidden then. I'll talk to someone and see if that can get changed. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 10:19, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

JamesAlan1986 (talk) 13:16, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

I was just made aware of this and I thought you should know about it. I didn't know about that. I just thought you should know about this. I don't want anyone in trouble. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 14:06, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Looks like Chris McFeely got there first... Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 15:26, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
I wrote the summary for Episode 26 will you check it and see if it seems alright and not too revealing. I think it looks alright and isn't too revealing but I thought posting the fate of Mystery Incorporated lets it be known that the show will indeed have a second season. Please let me know what you think of the summary. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 03:56, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
I don't think that's too revealing at all, actually... EDIT: Well, I have made some minor grammatical changes to it, as well as removing the bit about Pericles flying off with the two pieces of the disk (I thought at second glance that that bit was just a bit too revealing), but other than that, it's good. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 04:29, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! That's kinda why I asked you to look lol! I'm not always grammatically good at stuff but I do try and make the point across. It looks a lot better now. I didn't want it to reveal all the plot of episode 26 just things a short bit of what happens and the aftermath (which is of course the fate of Mystery Incorporated.) And together we pulled that off, again thanks! ^_^ JamesAlan1986 (talk) 02:12, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
You're welcome! Any time! Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 02:38, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Hey bro can you see if you can get a semi-protection on the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated page cause once again it's messed up cause some ip address decided to once again post unreference Volume DVD's and removed the reference list. It's getting horribly vandilized bro. I tried and it didn't work for me maybe it'll work for you. I was lucky able to readd it back. But I removed the DVD's once again cause whoever did it messed the page up horribly.JamesAlan1986 (talk) 19:28, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

I would, but you seem to know what's going on there a bit better than me -- just got to WP:RFPP, edit the first section (WP:RFPP#Requests for protection and place your request at the TOP of that section. EDIT: Taken care of. Problem is, you posted your request at the top of the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated article; actually, you're supposed to literally post it on the WP:RFPP page itself -- just scroll to the first section WP:RFPP#Requests for protection and post there (at the TOP of the section). Sorry if that was a bit harsh... Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 22:29, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

It's okay you're fine, you're trying to help sometimes you gotta be a bit harsh to get something across it's all good and I'm glad I got it done. I was getting a bit tired of that, it sucks I actually had to go back through and add the references back in. I still haven't figured out who did that. If you check the talk page you'll see where I told IP users they are not to remove the reference list. Oh and I'm the one who removed the reference of the blog its unreliable I pointed out why on the talk page as well. JamesAlan1986 (talk) 19:06, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
