In order to be more efficient, may I suggest that you try to itemize the points you think should be addressed in a new section at the bottom of the talk pages, instead of responding to what may be old or obsolete postings throughout the talk pages. That will save the both of us from hunting around for responses. I look forward to learning from what you have to say.
Would you be willing to post a few words, perhaps on your user page, about your background in this area? I don't mean to ask for credentials; I'm just curious. These articles don't get a lot of educated scrutiny, as you may have noticed.

Sure, no worries. Sorry for the delay - I myself am an intermittent contributor too.
My background is that I'm a practising engineer in the field and do a lot of practical datalogging and mathematical modelling using multibody system modelling (MBS). My company, a consultancy, has done work for Triumph and Harley among others. I've co-authored a book on MBS generally and taught it at an introductory level at a local university. I've also written a steer-by-wire algorithm for use on a free-leaning vehicle we called "Naro", which was tested to prototype stage. However bonkers the idea of it, the fact that the prototype worked just fine makes me think I have the physics about right. Damian Harty Black bird blue (talk) 17:42, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
