Warning
editAs a semi-involved admin in this instance, I'll recuse myself (but can find someone who is more neutral if needed). It takes two to troll, just as it takes two to tango. If A Nobody's comments really are intended as trolling, then responding to them as you have been is called "taking the bait" and is definitely disallowed. If this is a recurring problem, I advise taking up S Marshall's suggestion of dispute resolution. BOZ (talk) 12:05, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for you input. I disagree that "It takes two to troll," but if you actually believe that to be the case, then you ought to be giving out warnings to A Nobody as well. Blackbirdz (talk) 13:13, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Hello, I came here to drop you a friendly note on the same subject. I saw your comments on the Mimic (Dungeons & Dragons) AfD and wanted to say perhaps it is best you step back from the situation and do something else. While you haven't yet crossed the line into personal attack territory you were getting close at times and I'd hate to see this end in a block when one could easily be avoided. A Nobody's comments were rude, but impersonal, where as yours were rude and personal. Which is not to say his were right - I am just pointing out the difference. In any case the best way to make the situation go away is for one of you to walk away. I know from experience it probably won't be A Nobody, so I encourage you to be the "better person" and walk away. Its not like you are going to change his mind anyway.
Of course you are free to ignore my advice, but just be aware that it was offered with your best interests in mind. Have a nice day, ThaddeusB (talk) 02:10, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
