With regards to your comments on User talk:MONGO: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Kind Regards - Heligoland | Talk | Contribs 22:08, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think you misunderstood my post (it's the same problem MONGO is having). I was trying to help MONGO better understand the policy by showing that disagreement on a topic does not constitute a personal attack. I had the sense from following MONGO's difficulties in getting along on Wikipedia that he perhaps had never seen a personal attack before. That was just an example (notice the quoatation marks). I was saying those awful things about MONGO. I would never do that. I'm glad we're in agreement on the importance of the NPA policy. It occurs to me another personal attack might be to call someone a Troll. It's a term that is simply a derrogatory term. I bet MONGO never realized he was violating the NPA policy every time he uses that term to describe another editor. --BlameItOnMe 22:24, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Heligoland somehow I got blocked. I don't understand what I did wrong. I was just trying to help another Wikipedian understand a policy that MONGO just doesn't seem to grasp. Could you help me understand what I did wrong. I only made one edit (being bold you know). It seems like I'm being bitten just for one edit. I didn't mean to hurt MONGO's feeling. It was just an example. Does MONGO actually have a really small penis? I didn't know. If I knew that I would have chosen a different example. --BlameItOnMe 22:46, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
