Hi there. I (and another user) have now had to revert your additions to Heston Blumenthal several times. Here's why:

  1. The bit about The Queen was random gossip, and in no way rose to the level of 'controversy,' let alone notability (tip: when we leave links in comments, they're there for you to click and read)
  2. The bit about being notable for his physical appearance was not encyclopedic, as he isn't known for his appearance. (Conversely, one could note that Grant Achatz works in his stocking feet in his kitchen, which is extremely unusual. Shaved heads are common in professional kitchens due to the heat, and glasses are very common everywhere.)
  3. Your recent edits about his early life read like hagiography (what we call on Wikipedia peacock words) and are unencyclopedic.

In the section above, I provided you with links to a bunch of guidelines on how to edit articles, and what is and is not appropriate for Wikipedia. Please read them before you continue editing. Thanks! — The Potato Hose 19:35, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ok, sorry. I am a friend of Heston's, just trying to improve his page. BlumenMarvo (talk) 20:37, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Okay, a couple of things... first, when responding on talkpages, we indent comments so it's easy to follow who said what to whom. Just add a colon to indent once, two for two indents, etc. Second, if you're a friend of his, you need to be really careful about conflict of interest and adhering to Wikipedia's neutral point of view. Third... put in a good word for me? I'd love to stage for him... ;) — The Potato Hose 20:49, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'll mention that to Hest ;) BlumenMarvo (talk) 10:13, 29 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
