Hi! I'm working at NUL and was most intrigued by your editing of the wiki item - it appeared to be you who had added the bit about "Conversely, critics.... point out...." as the last paragraph. Although it seems to refer to ancient history I was intrigued as to how this 'severely undermined pressure to restore democracy' and also the reference to Makoni's "act". Can you tell me more?
The penultimate paragraph seems written by someone who has had unfortunate experiences at NUL - know anything more?
I worked for BCP and LLA from 1970 - 1981 (quitting when Mokhehele went over to Pretoria) and PAC from 1977 - 1986 (when Leballo died). Much of my work was undercover - I served as a LPF Major in 1977 on Mokhehle's orders and had much to do with NUL staff who wrongly supposed I was a supporter of the regime. My PhD (700 pages) is on BCP/PAC and I have also published "Soldier for Mokhehle" (in Sesotho) and the PAC of Azania (Australian National University). My latest work is "Racing Mandela" and will have a section on NUL's attitudes 1970 onwards.

editNice contributions to that page. If you can find references to support your contributions, so much the better. Wizzy…☎ 08:29, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

I paid for the Basotho to go to the USA. The papers from the former Lesotho Prime Minister are being released daily on Lesotho Topix Forum.

editI undid some of your your additions to the Kilimanjaro article because they were unsourced and partly dubious. Please feel free to restore them if you can provide proper references. --Gsv 13:11, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Kinyala Lauwo was my inlaw. I lived next to him for 26 years. I was Chairmamn of the Kilimanjaro the Historical Association of Tanzania. Thank you for describing me as dubious. It is too much effort to keep posting material on Wikipedia and having ignorant people remove it.
Lehmann
editGreetings!
You are apparently the source of some text in the article on the name Lehmann, stating that one group of people so named were of Jewish ancestry, the name being a corruption of a phrase meaning "lion man" (referring perhaps to the tribe of Judah). Where did you come across this information? A citation of your source would be nice. If it is in fact true, then it should be added back to the article (your text has been deleted, apparently for lack of a citation -- but I don't even know that for sure, the text just vanished without comment, as it appeared without comment).
Any comments? — SWWrightTalk 19:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
