Welcome to Wikipedia, BobGreenwade! I'm Celestianpower. I noticed that you were new and/or have yet to receive any messages so I just thought I'd pop in to say "hello". Hello. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it's so big but we won't bite so Be Bold and get what you know down in microchips! If you do make a mistake, that's fine, we'll assume good faith and just correct you: it'll take a few seconds maximum! Here, however, are a few links to get you started:

Straight saxes

Hi, saw your edit and thought you might be interested that Jay Easton told me he has a straight bari too (!) I think it's custom made so not sure if it merits inclusion in the article. Badagnani 19:20, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

Actually I've heard of such a thing in a limited-edition sort of distribution -- not exactly mass produced, but not quite one-of-a-kind either. I'd post more about it in the article if I could get specifics.BobGreenwade 17:07, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

Re: Steve Long

Hi. I've been fleshing out some RPG pages, and when stubbing Steve Long (Hero Games) was surprised to find a link from your user page. It took me a while to figure out it was a user page, and not a rpg designer article. Of course now I'm afraid to enter anything more for Steve Long... :-) want to do the honors? Major Hero settings?

Bob, I saw your update to the Hero Universe page abd I almost made the same change myself, but I couldn't decide how to judge which settings are "major genre-based settings" and which ones aren't. What makes Turakian any more major than Valdorian? What makes Terran Empire major and Alien Wars minor? I think perhaps the whole paragraph could be better reworded to not rank the settings artificially. Any thoughts? Rigel1 17:43, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

What I'm calling "Major" are the ones that have additional books to support them. The Grimoires and FH enemies books are geared for Turakian Age; Spacer's Toolkit and Worlds Of Empire are geared for Terran Empire. Valdorian Age, Alien Wars, and the upcoming Tuala Morn have no additional books planned for their respective settings (third-party AW books notwithstanding). I guess that makes sense, but I am just not sure DOJ would consider some settings "major" and others not. It's clear that some are more supported and more developed, but I'm not sure that equates to major. Either way, I think the Hero Universe article looks great now.
