March 2024
editHello, I'm Annh07. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Startup accelerator have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. [1] [2] Annh07 (talk) 12:46, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Thank you for letting me know! That was my first edit to an article, and I realised it after checking a few others. Do you think it would be possible to add the same content back and include citations instead of the external links? BobbiSt (talk) 13:58, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but you need to cite reliable sources instead of adding links to the company's website, please read WP:ELNO, WP:LINKSPAM. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 14:16, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- That's really good to know! Would information from Pitchdeck be allowed then? I think it's a genuinely interesting trend in the industry that some startup accelerators are starting to hyperfocus on niche industries, but it tends only to happen in Germany. BobbiSt (talk) 14:19, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- Pitchdeck allows users and businesses to create ads marketing their businesses, products, websites..., it is not a reliable source. Content from websites whose content is largely user-generated is generally unacceptable, see WP:UGC. Annh07 (talk) 15:35, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- I see! How about Sifted writing about the annual European venture capital report from Stryber? I am also not sure I can include links here, but this is it:

- You can use it. Annh07 (talk) 15:50, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
