Speedy deletion of "Éowyn (band)"
editA page you created, Éowyn (band), has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a band or other musical group, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for musical groups in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
Thank you. Becky Sayles (talk) 02:48, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Éowyn (band). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
In particular, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:05, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Funny. You reported me for breaking WP:3RR, then you go and break it! --Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:06, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Amazing isn't it. But really, it was more like putting it back in pristine shape before this started. --Boffo (talk) 02:08, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- The other editor earned a 24-hour block. As Mtking said "WP:ELNO is a guideline and not a policy, as such it can be ignored", I could pursue this further by making my case on the talk page, but that's fine. The official site has the links, and if it's that big of a deal regarding social media in 2011, I'll let it go. I'm happy with the outcome. Boffo (talk) 15:26, 28 June 2011 (UTC).

below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Magog the Ogre (talk) 02:22, 28 June 2011 (UTC)- Please note that users are entitled to delete talk page messages from their own talk page. Such actions are considered to represent that the user has read the note, but they are not prohibited from removing them. --Ckatzchatspy 18:05, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'm well aware, it was just enjoyable, and it's done now. Boffo (talk) 18:06, 28 June 2011 (UTC).
- Unwarranted and provocative messages directed at a user you have been edit warring with can be considered as disruptive behaviour on your part. If you repeat these type of actions, you may well incur another block. Please consider this your only warning, given that you have indicated your actions were deliberate in nature. --Ckatzchatspy 18:08, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds good. Boffo (talk) 18:10, 28 June 2011 (UTC).
