You're free to add the cite, if you've got the source with a different number. I do wonder if the 30,000 is Brit sailors only, or American only. Could also be the 72000 is a simple typo for 32000. Hello BogdaNz. Please stop changing the images in the article; the lead image of an article is to illustrate and identify the topic. The recognition drawing of the ship is ideally suited to this purpose. Also, the image you uploaded needs to explain how it is suitable for use on Wikipedia. That means you need to provide evidence that the image is in the public domain in the United States (where the Wikipedia servers are located), or otherwise suitably licensed. Until you do that, the image cannot be used. Also, please stop changing the length, displacement, and speed figures for the ship - these are sourced to Erich Gröner's book; Gröner had access to the official Kriegsmarine documents. The illustration drawing is accurate, it doesn't matter who created it. There are several real photos of the ship throughout the article; the one you insist on inserting in the lead section does not adequately illustrate the ship. As for the figures, Erich Gröner, who (I repeat) had access to the Kriegsmarine documentation during the war states the figures as they are in the article.
