Speedy deletion of Hilary Teague

edit

A tag has been placed on Hilary Teague requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Fatal!ty (T☠LK) 09:44, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry

edit

Please ignore the two warnings above (feel free to remove them), the article is in fine shape. Though do go to the discussion and make your comments known. That editor has since been blocked for their actions. Happy editting. Aboutmovies (talk) 11:16, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that nomination was complete non-sense and has already been closed. But, talking of nominations... if you can expand the article a bit more, and perhaps improve the references, you could list Hilary Teague at here. Would be nice to see a Liberian politician on the main page. – Sadalmelik 12:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Citations and refences

edit

Thanks for all your hard work on Liberia related articles. One way to make this easier is if you read WP:CITE. This way when you use the same source more than once, you only need to use <ref name=XXX/> instead of the full citation. For example:

So the first time you use the source, simply name it with <ref name=name> followed by the normal info and end with a </ref>. Then for subsequent uses, it is only <ref name=name/> you need to add.
