Swainson's Sparrow
editThanks for adding that image of a Swainson's Sparrow. I never expected to get a photo for this bird, and I was asking Shyamal to draw an image.
You may want to know that signatures (~~~~) are only for talk pages, not articles. —innotata 18:52, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- In regards to the query on my page: I think others have responded at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Birds. —innotata 19:05, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, if you want to use Template:Harvnb, you also must format the refernces at the bottom a certain way—using Template:cite book, with the parameter "ref=harv". Otherwise you can use harvard citations without a link. —innotata 19:57, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
I've Been Blocked!
editI've been blocked from editing. I don't see any way round it. Ethiopia Telecom only uses proxies so everyone in Ethiopia has to use a proxy server. I set a proxy up for my college, and I've agreed to do one for the local university. In Ethiopia with so little bandwidth there is no alternative.
It is illegal in this country to connect to the internet by any means than the state owned ISP: So anyone in Ethiopia could be a web vandal: I have no grounds for appeal. The only thing I could say is that vandalism is very unlikely in this culture.
It's not practical to use a secure connection as shtml is uncachable, which just makes it far to slow to be used on a shared dialup connection. -Br11n (talk) 15:11, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
