Vietnamese people

edit

What reason is this? You can't just say "a reason"; please explain why you're insisting on going against traditional style here. Typically, city demographics aren't broken into this detailed of style - check out the New York City demographics for an example. Nowhere do we say, "American people" or "Black people"; there's no reason for this to be "Vietnamese people". You have made many, many changes on this article recently with no edit summaries and without any consensus from other editors - no talk page edits, etc. What gives? Never mind, I'm an idiot. My request for you to use more edit summaries stands, but carry on. And slap me with a trout. Tan ǀ 39 20:00, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please use edit summaries

Hello! Please use edit summaries, see Help:Edit summary. It helps other editors understand the reason for your changes, and keeps Wikipedia running smoothly! Thanks. --Uncia (talk) 19:58, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

South Valley and the table of most populous New Mexico cities

edit

Hello! I noticed that you have twice added South Valley to the list of the 10 most populous cities at New_Mexico#Important_Cities & Counties. As far as I can tell, South Valley is not an incorporated city, nor was it an incorporated city on July 1, 2007, which is the date this table is for. So it should not be in the table. If you disagree, please start a discussion at Talk:New_Mexico giving your reasons for adding it. Please do not add it again until there is a consensus. Please be aware of edit war and WP:3RR which prohibit continually making the same change without discussion. Thanks. --Uncia (talk) 20:07, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sock puppet

Over at User talk:uncia, you wrote:

I created the table, and that whole section! back when i had my previous account.. south valley has the population to be on the table..i just forgot to add it. I used to make most the edits on the new mexico page.., i think i know what i'm doing.. you need to stop with your "talk about it in the discussion page", thats not the way the editors do things around here. Your "previous account"? Hmmm....

That table was initially created (see here) by Martinez07, known sockpuppet of PoliticianTexas. Thanks for making this one easy for me! Dori (TalkContribs) 00:12, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
