Heather Vesey
editHi. You appear to be constructing what looks like an elaborate hoax at User:BreakIntoMusic111/Heather Vesey. Could you please let us know what you're doing and what it's intended for? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:00, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
oh hey, its not real. i'm just practising.
- OK. I only asked because I notice that there appears to be quite a bit of hoax material about this "Heather Vesey" across the internet, and a hoax article "Heather Vesey" has been created here at Wikipedia several times in the past. If this is your practice work, then it looks pretty successful and you appear to be editing just fine, so I look forward to seeing you move on to actual Wikipedia articles. As soon as you have finished with your practice pages, please tag them at the top with {{db-user}} to ask an admin to delete them, or feel free to ask me on my Talk page - we wouldn't want them left round for too long, as we don't want anyone to think it's all real. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:14, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- This makes me extremely uneasy, even in user space, because we have had endless trouble with hoax articles which have been deleted no less than seven times. It is speedy-deletable now, even in userspace, as a repost of material deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lady Lashes. How long do you want to keep it? I would much rather you practised on something without such a suspicious history. JohnCD (talk) 23:29, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- One more point - you do seem to be spending a lot of time on this, and you do realise it *will* all be deleted, and probably soon, don't you? (Especially as you seem to be perfectly fine at editing and do not appear to need the practice) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:05, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
- I have deleted it, and the redirects pointing to it. It qualified for speedy deletion both as a repost of material deleted at WP:Articles for deletion/Lady Lashes, and as a blatant hoax - the "references" were either deadlinks or did not mention the subject. I do not know what your intentions were, but over the years we have had to delete over twenty articles connected with this Vesey/Lady Lashes hoax, and nothing to do with it has any place in Wikipedia.
