The article FlashPunk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No assertion of notability, no reliable third-party sources could be found.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SudoGhost 21:58, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. SudoGhost 02:49, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Contributing to Wikipedia
editHi Bretboy129, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw you created FlashPunk which was WP:PRODed and nominated for deletion. The problem with the article is that it appears to not meet wikipedia's notability guidelines. If you aren't familiar with Wikipedia's policies but still want to contribute, that's fine. We don't require you memorize all the guidelines to contribute. But to prevent your work from getting deleted in the future, please ask at WP:N/N first. That way other editors will be able to tell you if the article you are thinking of creating meets Wikipedia's guidelines. If it gets accepted there, then you can head to WP:AFC where other users will guide you through creating your article. Sorry for the fuss over your first article, and I hope it won't dissuade you and that you will continue to contribute to Wikipedia. We'd be glad to have you as a member. --Odie5533 (talk) 03:02, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Thank you, Odie5533. I'll make sure to do that in the future.Bretboy129 (talk) 03:30, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
