I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!
Additionally, I was confused to exactly what you meant on the discussion page for the image GoogleEarthLogo.JPG. Please let me know there and I would be thrilled to help you. Martin Porcheron talk to memy edits 23:05, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Google Earth in an article
editThis isn't possible because Google Earth is a programme that must be run on a user's computer. It is however possible to link to a map (with satellite imagery) using Google Maps. Go to Google Maps, find the location you wish to link to, and then click the "Link to this page" link. You'll be given a URI, this can be used to link to a specific map.
Please check this section on how to insert links into Wikipedia articles and this article for more information on what URIs to link and where. Both are important and should be read. Links that do not meet the Wikipedia guidelines are removed by other users. But don't worry if you aren't sure about something, do it, and if it isn't quite right, someone will correct it. :¬) Martin Porcheron talk to memy edits 20:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
