User talk:Bringa/Post-black metal

re: deletion: I'm voting a strong keep (even though no voting is going on yet ;P) This is a well established term in the metal scene and describes a clearly defined subsection of metal. Currently Google turns up 13,600 hits for "post black metal" (and there are doubtless many more who've simply called it "post black", but there'd be too much noise in a search for that), last.fm has 144 (compare: 238 for "groove metal" which has hugely popular bands like Pantera) songs/albums/artists tagged as "post black metal", and in the absence of this category, a lot of bands (like Borknagar and Arcturus) would not fit into any category of metal described on wikipedia.

I don't see the burden of evidence on the defense's side here; I would say that if you want this article to be deleted, you should come up with better reasons. --Bringa 13:50, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
