List of Chris Evans performances
Hi, tables for filmography should be formatted as Year then Title per WP:FILMOGRAPHY. I'm in the process of converting the other tables in the list and will re-revert the edit shortly. Morgan695 (talk) 03:53, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- Weird since I've seen a lot of actor's performances FL with it the other way around. - Brojam (talk) 04:00, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
Thank you
Because of your petty and pointless revisions of my most recent edits, I'm done editing Wikipedia for good. You can take your "unsourced" nonsense and shove it. My source was watching the damn show. Fuck off. -- Robster2001 (talk) 03:34, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Have a look at WP:PROVEIT instead of attacking other editors. - Brojam (talk) 03:37, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
KSI obsessed User:Timwikisidemen
can't redirect Beerus (song) and Two Birds, One Stone (KSI song). after User:GSS warned him, he still refuses and still promote/edits KSI related articles/music, I think it's time to brought this guy to ANI. 116.125.83.34 (talk) 06:13, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
- @116.125.83.34: I gave him another warning and left a message on his talkpage. If he continues, then yes, an ANI is likely needed. - Brojam (talk) 07:09, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
Question
Does the group is called '"The Sidemen, or just Sidemen. Mist6820 (talk) 13:00, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- The group is officially called just "Sidemen", but you would refer to them most often as "the Sidemen [...]". Similar to like the Spice Girls. - Brojam (talk) 04:22, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
Ratings
Hi Brojam,
Just thought you should I have reverted your edits as it now says on the top: NETWORK FINALS: There were no changes from the preliminary Tuesday ratings.
— YoungForever(talk) 22:33, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- Despite that note, which is in regards to the 18-49 demo, the table still shows the preliminary numbers for the viewers, which always have some sort of adjustment in finals. Not the first time this has happened with SBD where they forget to update the broadcast table image when posting the cable finals. - Brojam (talk) 22:36, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
Height
Hi, Brojam. I see you've reverted the height details. Could you please kindly explain why height is irrelevant, even when there are RS available to verify the legitimacy of information? I'm asking because I really am wondering why height shouldn't be included, when there are available references/resources to prove their being factual. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Migsmigss (talk) 04:52, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- Per the {{Infobox person}}, the
height
parameter should only be usedIf person was notable for their height, or if height is relevant.
None of the people you added this parameter to satisfy this. - Brojam (talk) 05:09, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
That is the name of Supergirl's 100th episode, for which there is a draft. If you find more sources, please store them in the draft while I will see how to use them. --Kailash29792 (talk) 06:50, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks! I had completely forgotten this was coming up for Supergirl. Haven't seen anything really but I'll be on the lookout now. - Brojam (talk) 18:55, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
Edit warring to restore redirects
Brojam, while I agree Timwikisidemen needs to become better versed at adding sources and demonstrating notability for topics, you should not be edit warring with them right back. Any admin will tell you to take the matter to AfD if your redirection of an article is reverted. Nobody should be reverting to reinstate a redirect, unless it's entirely misguided, as in the article is entirely unsourced or is clearly not notable (as in, there's no claim of it having charted or being extensively covered in news sources to satisfy WP:NSONGS). Timwikisidemen's articles, like Friends with Benefits (KSI song), needed work, but at least had an indication of notability (there was an MTV News article, and multiple charts, including the UK). In future, you should open an AfD nomination. But in case you didn't know, you'll have a hard time convincing most editors at AfD that a song that charted on a major chart like the UK Singles Chart is not notable or that sources do not exist for such a song. I've removed your tags on Wake Up Call (KSI song). There are enough news sources and chart information on the article to clearly establish notability. Tagging it was misguided. The Mandalorian characters list
Hey Brojam. I saw your edits to the Mandalorian character list. This is the first time I've made a list article like this one, so I appreciate the help and agree with the vast majority of your edits. (I was sorry to see the table go, but I was unaware of the guideline you cited, so I get why it was removed.) I'd ultimately like to bring this list to FL eventually and make it the anchor of a good topic, so any other input you have would be welcome. In particular, I wanted to ask: 1) This is minor, but why remove the images from the guest apparances section? And more importantly: 2) In your edit summary, you said the guest appearances section should be "heavily trimmed". I did tend to include a lot of detail there because, unlike other characters who have their own page, this list will presumably be where the most detail about each of those characters will be. But I'm sure you're right that there's a bit too much. What in particular do you recommend I trim? Scale back some of the plot summary stuff? Or tighten some of the reviews/reception portions? All of the above? Thanks in advance! — Hunter Kahn 14:32, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Hunter Kahn: Since these are only guest/cameo appearances, we really should limit this content to a brief description of the character, similar to List of Agent Carter characters#Guest characters. Pretty much what is at The Mandalorian#Guests, but with better sources. I know that's a big reduction from what you currently have, but this is supposed to be a list after all. You'd be best to keep the more detailed info and reception for main and recurring characters. - Brojam (talk) 01:25, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks Brojam. I'm not sure I agree it should be scaled back that much, but I agree it was a bit excessive how I originally had it. I've gone through and cut a lot of the material in the guest appearances for starters, and am open to trimming it more in the future. Thanks for your input! — Hunter Kahn 14:07, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

Regarding a revert
Hey, Brojam. You recently reverted my edit on Sidemen. In that article, their subscriber count is mentioned on top 2nd paragraph - "Their eponymous YouTube channel has over 7.5 million subscribers" then again that same info has been repeated in 6th paragraph - "The Sidemen channel has over 7.4 million subscribers and has had over 1.2 billion views" under the Youtube Content category on that same page. I removed the former because its already mentioned under the Youtube Content category where it perfectly, why did you revert it ?
Also, you reverted my edits of the cn tags on the same article, no source on that article mentions anything about the group beginning to produce a wider variety of videos and other projects in 2017 which means that statement needs citation. So why did you removed that tag without adding any citation ? -Sxkc (talk) 05:34, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- The lead section of an article (ie everything before the table of contents) is
an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents
(MOS:LEAD) so makes sense to include the group's stats of their main channel in both the lead and the body of the article. Then, in the article it says "On the combined YouTube channels, the group produces a varity of videos consisting of challenges, vlogs, game-show formats and video game commentaries. Since 2018, the group has released a weekly series named Sidemen Sundays on their Sidemen channel." but indeed you are correct there is no mention of the year so I've removed it from the lead. Sorry about that. I had put WP:CITELEAD in my edit summary, thinking the info was already sourced in the article, and thus did not need a source in the lead. - Brojam (talk) 06:51, 24 March 2020 (UTC)- @Brojam: Yeah but WP:MOSLEAD doesn't tell you to just blatantly repeat the same exact stat (7.5 million subscribers in this case). Per MOS:LEADNO - "not everything in the lead must be repeated in the body of the text. Exceptions include specific facts such as quotations, examples, birth dates, taxonomic names, case numbers, and titles".
- That's why I removed it from the lead because the same thing is already mentioned under the Youtube Content category where it perfectly fits. Alternatively, instead of removing it like i did, since leads are meant to generalise what's in the body, you can state in the lead they have a combined 94.6 million subscribers like it is in the infobox since that would fit better in the lead and let the statement "The Sidemen channel has over 7.4 million subscribers and has had over 1.2 billion views" stay under the Youtube Content category like it already is. -Sxkc (talk) 07:59, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- I really don't see what your problem is with repeating this stat. It's only 6 words being repeated, which can't be expressed any other way. It's essentially the group's most important stat with its ranking relative to other channels in the UK; much more than the combined one and per MOS:LEADNO
significant information should not appear in the lead if it is not covered in the remainder of the article
. Also,This admonition should not be taken as a reason to exclude information from the lead, but rather to harmonize coverage in the lead with material in the body of the article.
- Brojam (talk) 15:58, 24 March 2020 (UTC)- @Brojam: I don't see why you have to repeat it in the first place. No youtuber wikipedia page have their subscriber count repeated twice in the body. As I said, WP:MOSLEAD doesn't tell you to just blatantly repeat the same exact stat (7.5 million subscribers in this case). Leads are meant to generalise information that are covered in the body but in this case you've stated the same "Their channel have 7.5 million subscribers" twice. Also unless they are ranked number 1, top 5 or top 10 or at a worthy position covered in a reliable source, stating that they are ranked 48 in the UK is unnecessary especially when its not covered in a single reliable source whatsoever. Its just a way of trying to increase word count of the article using primary sources instead of reliable sources.-Sxkc (talk) 17:03, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- It's not repeat twice in the body but rather in the article (lead and body) due to it being significant information. And actually many YouTubers have their most recent subscriber stat in the lead and not even in the body. - Brojam (talk) 17:25, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Brojam: I know many Youtubers have their subscriber stat in the lead but rarely that stat is repeated in the body, Sidemen is the only page I know that does that. I wasn't trying to say, remove it specifically from the lead, I was just saying since the sentence is repeated, removing it either from the lead or the body where its repeated, the reason why I did from the lead specifically is because the subscriber count fits well under the Youtube Content category. But you can do it from the body & let it stay in the lead, I'm perfectly fine with that provided that them being ranked 48 in the UK should be removed UNLESS its covered in a reliable source instead of just one primary source. Based on my research, there are several reliable sources that state their sub count but not a single one of them state they are ranked 48 in the UK which means that info is not notable enough to be included in the article.-Sxkc (talk) 18:59, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

The Ellen DeGeneres Show (season 17)
It is vandal because you are messing with a currently article that has nothing wrong with it. Making cosmetic changes just because you dont like how it looks is vandalism. Makro (talk) 23:34, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

About my draft
Hey Brojam, you recently made an edit on my draft - Draft:Deji (YouTuber). Since you're a big contributor of Sidemen, I would assume you know about Deji as well. So if you want to improve it or add content to it, you're welcome to do so. -Sxkc (talk) 13:22, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
Uh ...
Why? --Brogo13 (talk) 06:42, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- You broke one of the headings and added unnecessary whitespace. - Brojam (talk) 06:43, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Regarding headings, I routinely add or remove the optional spaces just inside the equals signs solely for consistency (ditto the hyphens of hidden text); if I "broke" any, please tell me which [of hundreds].
- Regarding whitespace, I assume you mean blank lines; they're only "unnecessary" if nobody wants them. Please take a look at sections 6 and 12 on my talk page, then reconsider. --Brogo13 (talk) 08:16, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
American Idol color scheme templates
Hi there,
I was wanting to edit the American Idol (pre-farewell season) design and format that look like those from the post-revival season's colorful design scheme because it would like these articles to be very consistent and easy for reader's eye (those with a monochrome color does not look much contrast, but I like the new template, however, so much I saw that an editor even adopted the colorful template in SPOP Sing! (from what I saw under my knowledge)).
If you have time, can you change the color templates (based on the post-Revival season's format). If I have time, I will come down and help as well.
Cheers, and please take care. (TVSGuy (talk) 09:04, 5 April 2020 (UTC))
- Hello, Brojam, it seems you may have overlooked this message, but it's just a short and simple request for consistency. I like articles with a very good consistency but it's a good time to see some new changes from the old. Thanks. TVSGuy (talk) 15:45, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, forgot to reply. We are talking about the elimination charts right? Will take me a little bit of time to change the Season 1–15 articles, since I'm quite busy right now. - Brojam (talk) 16:08, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
- No problem. If you are doing when you finally free, don't forget the color scheme for the performance song tables as well (changing from the monochrome into colorful). You can refer to the post-revival as an example. Take your time. TVSGuy (talk) 17:23, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

Regarding removal of sourced info
Hello, @Brojam: On KSI, the first line "Olajide Olayinka Williams "JJ" Olatunji, better known as KSI, is an English YouTuber, internet personality, rapper, actor and professional boxer" was changed to "Olajide Olayinka Williams "JJ" Olatunji, better known as KSI, is an English YouTuber and rapper" by Formulaonewiki saying KSI is primarily only a YouTuber and rapper, even though both the citations added to the sentence very clearly mention him as an actor and a boxer as well.[1][2] In fact, every reliable source that has written an in-depth article on KSI within the past year have mentioned him as a YouTuber, rapper, actor and boxer including The Independent and The Times, both of which are regarded as highly reliable sources per WP:RSPSOURCES and their conensus. So is he right in removing actor and boxer ? Your take on it would be really helpful.-Sxkc (talk) 15:22, 18 April 2020 (UTC)

- I never said he was "primarily only a YouTuber and rapper", I just said that I do not believe it necessary to list as his occupation every single thing he's done in the last few years. Instead, the lead should be a summary of the article's most important contents (see MOS:LEAD), and the bulk of the article covers him as a YouTube and as a rapper. Even the boxing is generally covered as a sub-section of his YouTube career.
- Nobody is disputing that the articles describe KSI as many things, though bear in mind the context of those articles; most are trying to explain to a wider mainstream audience the popularity and appeal of this YouTube, and emphasise the variety of things he's undertaken, as well as being written around the time of his last fight (and so naturally will centre on the boxing).
- As already mentioned in my edit summaries and on my talk page, you also are making baseless arguments using a misunderstanding of primary sources (their purpose, use and reliability) to remove long-standing information from the lead. —Formulaonewiki 17:14, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Sxkc: I'll be honest and say that I don't have too strong an opinion on this and not quite sure if there's any policies or guidelines that deal with this apart from MOS:FIRST, which says
Try to not overload the first sentence by describing everything notable about the subject. Instead use the first sentence to introduce the topic, and then spread the relevant information out over the entire lead.
There's also MOS:OPENPARABIO. However, I've seen articles with people releasing one song and instantly being called a singer in their first sentence. Since he's technically only been in one professional fight, despite the numerous notable coverage on that one fight, I would be against including "professional boxer" for now. Personally, I wouldn't have too big a problem including "actor" and "internet personality" (although some could argue that "YouTuber" covers that one). In any case, you'd likely have to get a consensus to add them. - Brojam (talk) 21:51, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Sxkc: I'll be honest and say that I don't have too strong an opinion on this and not quite sure if there's any policies or guidelines that deal with this apart from MOS:FIRST, which says
- @Brojam: Not really trying to overload because The Times source also mentions him as an “author and gamer” as well which I’m not trying to add. I’m just trying to add “actor and boxer”. He’s done a movie (which is notable) in which he was the lead actor along with a tv series. He has done 2 boxing fights & 1 pro boxing fight, all of which have gathered more than enough coverage in reliable sources. So there’s no reason for “actor and boxer” to not be mentioned when all the reliable sources say so. Right now it only says “YouTuber and rapper”, even though his boxing fights have got way more coverage in reliable sources than his ‘rapping’ has. Internet personality was also removed without any reason at all even though The Times does very clearly say ‘Internet personality’. Internet personality should be used because KSI has a big audience on all social platforms not just YouTube. Regardless, I have added a post on Talk:KSI (entertainer) for other editors to give their opinion. Do reply on that whether its in support of it or even if its against it. -Sxkc (talk) 09:32, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

- Brojam, Again, please see the page I referred you to: "Any material lacking a reliable source directly supporting it may be removed and should not be restored without an inline citation to a reliable source." As Jimmy Wales, the co-founder of this site put it: "I can NOT emphasize this enough. There seems to be a terrible bias among some editors that some sort of random speculative 'I heard it somewhere' pseudo information is to be tagged with a 'needs a cite' tag. Wrong. It should be removed, aggressively, unless it can be sourced. This is true of all information, but it is particularly true of negative information about living persons." A move request Looking for Alaska (TV series) to Looking for Alaska (miniseries)
Hi Brojam,
Can you move Looking for Alaska (TV series) to Looking for Alaska (miniseries) without leaving a redirect. It's a miniseries, not a whole TV series. Reliable sources on the article refer to the series as a miniseries or limited series, not a TV series. According to WP:NCTV, to use miniseries according to common usage in reliable sources
. In addition, Looking for Alaska (miniseries) shouldn't be redirect to Looking for Alaska, the book. — YoungForever(talk) 17:54, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

ref name
Hi, Brojam. It is not helpful to add quotes within the ref name tag. If the ref name consists of a single word, the quotation marks are extraneous, and merely add clutter to the Edit screen. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 06:09, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
A move request Draft:Nine Perfect Strangers to Draft:Nine Perfect Strangers (miniseries)
Hi Brojam,
Can you move Draft:Nine Perfect Strangers to Draft:Nine Perfect Strangers (miniseries) without leaving a redirect? It's a miniseries and the book is already on the mainspace with the article named Nine Perfect Strangers. This is only a Draft to Draft technical move. I know it is definitely not ready for the mainspace yet. — YoungForever(talk) 04:52, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Request to change color scheme format in American Idol
Hi @Brojam:,
Now that the most recent season is history, I think now it would be good time to do some maintenance works on changing the color scheme (both performances and the elimination tables) for the FOX era (the first 15 seasons) using the color scheme based on the ABC revival era (Season 16 onwards). It's just a simple request, but I know you can do it using tools under disposal. If there is a few shows' Wikipedia article that also adopted the ABC revival era template for elimination tables and its performance charts, then there might be good reception on the scheme.
And yes, I did see Idol. Quite changed how the way it presented since the outbreak. TVSGuy (talk) 16:46, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- @TVSGuy: Unfortunately, I don't have any special tools to make the changes so I would have to edit them one by one just as if you were to do it. Feel free to get started changing them since I won't have time till later this summer. - Brojam (talk) 19:00, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Brojam:, I understand; is there any other way other than me to find someone to request the work? I mean, like find an edit request page so that I can post my edit request for that, and editors can help with the request. Again, I may not be free editing at anytime, but I see what I can do. BTW, it's just the simple copy-paste the color format, simply just copy the coding from the ABC-era pages to the one in FOX-era pages and then edit the text or names accordingly. NO special tools required. TVSGuy (talk) 06:46, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Brojam:, I will highlight my color scheme question on the talk pages. TVSGuy (talk) 10:32, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Brojam:: I doing an experiment by starting in season one. I do not have time to do other 14, but I hope that anyone can help will be fine. What do you think? TVSGuy (talk) 11:38, 23 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi Brojam,
Can you move The Great North (TV series) back to The Great North without leaving a redirect? The disambiguation is unnecessary. The Great North and Great North are not the same thing, but a hatnote would be sufficient. — YoungForever(talk) 14:43, 30 June 2020 (UTC)

Miniminter Draft
Hey Brojam,
Can you please check out the draft for Miniminter? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Miniminter I fixed the unrealiable sources by adding reliable ones, added content and licensed image. Can that template be removed now? Please check and see if everything is fine (grammar too). ;) I hope it's okay now. Yours sincerely, Andrew012p (talk) 12:29, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
Andrew012p (talk) 15:28, 12 July 2020 (UTC) Hey Brojam, it's me again. Can you please check out the draft? Also for the "Stimpy" part, the timestamp is at 5:24 but I don't know how to add it in the source. Oh and when you go mobile to the draft, it first shows the template for youtubers but not the text where it says "SImon is a youtuber etc..." Can you also fix that, please? (and in general everything you think can be better) ;) Thanks so much!
Is there any reason everything had to be reverted? Most of the sources are improperly formatted, you've removed a sourced future episode, and removed a valid reference. There is no reason the other seasons can't be properly formatted as well... Magitroopa (talk) 19:38, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Magitroopa:The sources were not improperly formatted (You, in fact, introduced multiple errors, such as wikilinking the name in the author field, which should never be done per the template's doc, as well as incorrect titles and removing the archives, which are extremely important for ratings in case the site were to shutdown in the future.) I've correctly re-added the ratings references for the episodes that didn't have ratings. The listing for the Kathie Lee vs. Ricki Lake has been removed and is "no longer valid" so should not be listed until a new one is released by ABC. - Brojam (talk) 19:49, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

The Bachelor (American season 24) finale part-two summary
Hello! As I was unexpected on you reverted my edits for the part two of finale episode of The Bachelor (American season 24) for being disruptive that I don't see in my way. I was watching that finale less than 24 hours before the season premiere of The Bachelorette (season 16) as I am planned not to watch the latter season. Where I don't give a simple manner I edited the episode summary. It was that time when Sportsfan 1234 (talk · contribs) reverted my edits on October 13 and 14 due to "Bad English" issues as English is my second language that I totally understand.
If you wish to clarify and copyedit the summary below to that article:
The Bachelor (American season 24) finale, aired March 10, 2020

The episode concluded when Madison had already departed Australia and left Peter's heart, Peter got nervous on what he is doing next and thinking that Hannah Ann is the one planning to get engaged to her. When Hannah Ann arrives at the final rose ceremony, Peter proposes to her and giving the final impression rose. A couple of months later, Peter meets with his family in Los Angeles and telling the news of his engagement with Hannah Ann, then Peter calls Hannah Ann to his family on this exciting moment. Several weeks later, Peter arrived at the safe house and has to talk to Hannah Ann, as Hannah Ann felt sobbed, depressed and lost her emotions, Peter follows her and declared the engagement is about to end. Then, Peter and Hannah Ann are seen for the first time since the breakup and Hannah Ann gives Peter an apology to accept the plea. Chris comes to Auburn, Alabama to see Madison and he asked the news on Peter's breakup with Hannah Ann and he tells Madison that she is barely in love with Peter, and Madison prepares to travel to Los Angeles. Peter and Madison are seen for the first time since Madison's sudden elimination back in Australia and they have asked a second chance to pursue a relationship. Peter's mother Barbara is on stage and telling the facts over Madison's feelings when Peter's family first met her during the first date. Knowing that Barbara has really done nothing in common with Madison that specifically letting her son's relationship Madison would become a lot better. |

American Idol color template request/task force
Hi there, TVSGuy is here.
I am back to check things and so far that the update has gone up to Season 3 (season 4 for partially up until the audition part); but there are still 11 American Idol seasons to have to change the color templates to fix up consistency. I would recommend to set a small task force and update to all other versions of Idol as well. TVSGuy (talk) 16:35, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
