Introduced species on islands

I moved your draft back to your sandbox. While I think it could make a valuable addition to Wikipedia, I don't think your draft is ready yet.

To begin with, it's much better to use inline sources in Wikipedia articles, because it makes the article easier to update and maintain. If you need a refresher on how to add citations, please consult this training module.

Another other issue is the lack of a lead section that summarizes all the major points of the article. Please have a look at pages 7-9 in the Editing Wikipedia brochure that I've linked here, for more help on article structure in general.

You don't have links to other Wikipedia articles, where readers can learn more about the topics you mention. Importantly, you should include links to the island biogeography and invasive species articles. You should also make sure that you aren't repeating information that should really be included in those articles. Wikipedia articles should be modular, and should link to other articles instead of repeating what's already covered in them. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:24, 16 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
