Helpme

edit

Okay I have created a talk page at the article Shot in the Heart, which is a stub I created a couple months ago. Basically I think I need to re-title the existing article to correct its pronunciation, so that other articles that reference that book or movie will correctly link to the article. Does anyone know how to perform this simple task?

Yes, I know how. Would you like me to tell you? ;) *Cremepuff222* 21:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, Cremepuff222. With a little bit of trial and error it looks like I just figured it out.Brrryan 21:14, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, okay. Please ask me any more questions in the future. *Cremepuff222* 21:18, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bodymore

edit

I'm sorry if you feel set-upon by my reversion to your edit (all my edits are visible for your perusal if you care to see my history so you don't have to speculate on my actions). I'd love to have a reliable citation for the use of that nickname. But we need a citation for "it is a nickname for the city", or at least an example of it being used in some major way referring to the actual city. While The Wire is indeed a realistic portrayal of the city, as best I can tell, it's a composite, not a factual documentary. The prospect.org link you posted on my talk page even suggests that "Bodymore" is more the fictionalized creation than the real city. I'll copy your comments to the article's talk page so others can chime in here. DMacks 05:40, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

--Fair enough. I don't mean to snap at you, and I guess my message reads as though I did. Sorry about that.Brrryan 05:47, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
