Paul Conneally
editHi Bruce. Lots of good stuff you've added to Paul Conneally, but I'd like to stress that what's critical is supplying references to support this additional material - and better to provide ones that other editors can access, rather than www.accessmylibrary.com. If you haven't already done so, please take a look at Wikipedia:Bio and specifically WP:CREATIVE. Thanks --Yumegusa (talk) 20:16, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Thankyou Yumegusa (a good name!) Yes I can see that you are right. The truth is that first I have to work out how to add those little reference numbers that link to the references section down the page (I will go and look at other entries to try work this out)and secondly I ran out of time and needed a cup of tea (good green tea. I think that there are some references we could take from the deletion review log stuff and I have the links that I went to in my computer history too (hopefully). Thanks again for your advice. - Trojan work you've done, and I do hope it pays off and the article is kept.--Yumegusa (talk) 22:56, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
Oranges and Lemons
editThis is to thank you for your recent additions to Oranges and Lemons and to explain why I altered them. I moved the very useful link to the audio to a subsection on external links, as this is more normal and will be easier to find. I removed the statement on the tune still being sung because the reference did not support it. I think it is almost certainly true and will put it back if I can find some reliable evidence, or if you can offer some. Thanks --Sabrebd (talk) 07:43, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- Glad that you thought the audio link was worth having - and yes I agree External Links is the better place. Funny but only last week some little kids in our street were doing the whole Oranges and Lemons thing - with the corridor of hands (like a tunnel) - hope there is a live reference somewhere.
