Bryan, welcome to Wikipedia. I can see that things have got off on the wrong foot, so I'd like to apologise for what it's worth.

You're clearly a very knowledgeable person and should be given respect for that. I think BilCat, the guy who was removing the link on the F-5 article, may have been acting a little hasty without explaining the rules. Generally we don't like people adding links to websites they operate or contribute towards. Self-promotion is normally frowned upon. I certainly hope you don't think the action taken was personal.

Anyway, I think the website you mention is very good so I have put it back in. I've also put your original contributions back in - I hope you don't mind. I've tried to improve certain articles about Taiwan's military over the years, but my knowledge is limited. So we would all really value it if you could help us out. If you run into any problems, don't worry just drop me a message and we can work it out.

Right to leave

The Right to Leave used to be a wiki standard -- anyone had the right to leave a wiki, and to take what they had contributed with them -- usually implying that they could remove it from the wiki as well.

We've moved on a bit since the Meatball days, but there is still a lot of value in those ideals. I think you should absolutely have the right to remove content you added from an article. This is simply a matter of being polite -- it is not a question of licensing. And even if you remove your material from the article, it isn't "deleted" from the collective unconscous -- it will always be there in archives and old revisions. But other editors should respect your desire to step away from the article for a time.

I will take a look; I have no power to change what others do, but I can lend my voice to your request and point out this very old wiki-policy which has served other communities well. –SJ+ 02:04, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your support, John Smith's. I only have problem with the U-2 page. As for Taiwan Military Forum, it's closed since late March due to the Mike H/admin got tired of all the spambots registering on the TMF's old and outdated software. So he called it quits, after no moderators wanted to take over.

I did, with 2 cite/ref, but they were in Chinese. So I guess that's why it got deleted?

I've responded on the OH-6 talk page, but I came here to "clear my good name", as I don't delete material "for no good reason", ever. Btw, another user had added a Clean-up tag to that section, so I'm not the only one who thought it had problems. Since the sources were in CHinese, I couldn't read them myself to rewrite it comprehensibly, so my only option was to revert to the previous version. Additional Tien Kung Information

Hi Bryan,

You don't know me but I used to read about your postings in TaiwanMilitary.org (sad to see that it is offline now). I am new to Wikipedia and so didn't want to just edit other people's work and accidentally "step on their toes" so to speak. I have some information (not classified) on the Tien Kung systems which I would like to post on its Wiki page (I revised the information on that page offline). The primary source of my information is the now defunct Taiwan Defense Review, on which I was a long-time subscriber. Let me know if you will be interested to read my revisions. I could either post it here on your user talk site or email it to you.
