Images from Waterfalls Northwest
editWould it be okay if Wikipedia used some images from your site in our articles, because many of the articles about Northwest Waterfalls are lacking in images? (You have rights over the images, so you can decide whether to allow us to use them or not.) themaee 17:15, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
No, I don't want my images used on Wikipedia. Bryan Swan | World Waterfall Database (talk) 19:35, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
AndrewEnn's use of your material
editI sometimes review new articles, and I noticed your comment on AndrewEnns's page: [1]. I've written AndrewEnn a second time about misquoting his references. (He changed the height of the falls from what your reference says in Ashlu Falls.) My concern is that it is not readily apparent what is being paraphrased, what is misquoted, and what is original research. It seems that you might be a good judge of this? - Bryan, I've answered AndrewEnn at length on his talk page. [2]. I did have one question for you, and didn't want to garble the main discussion. Are you associated with the USGS or any other government organization? Hopefully my discourse on AndrewEnn's page will smooth at least some of the trouble waters...but it suddenly occurred to me that some of the underlying information on your site might come from government sources? AndrewEnns/River articles
editBecause I see that you and AndrewEnns have been contributing a lot to the same articles/ or discussing the same articles (and also because he rarely has replied anything on his talk page) would you know where AndrewEnns is finding all that river course data in his river articles (e.g. Tzoonie River) because I don't find any of that date mentioned in the sources... It would be a great help if you knew, since he generally doesn't reply on his talk page. themaeetalk 22:16, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Bishop Falls
editI saw on the Della Falls talk page u mentioned a waterfall called Bishop Falls that is supposedly really tall and maybe the tallest in Canada. Could u tell me a bit about it and maybe give me the coordinates for it cuz I'm really interested in hearin about it. Btw U should do a write up on the world waterfall database for it. It looks like u haven't updated that site for quite a while. Why is that?
Cheers
