You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Sergey Bryukhno. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:02, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The article I deleted in 2011 said only "European digital record label specialized on classical music", with a link to their website. That is not enough for an article, but there is no reason why one should not be created. Read WP:Your first article for advice, and note the need for references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" to establish Wikipedia:Notability, the test for inclusion - Wikipedia is not a business listing directory, and does not expect or want to have articles about every company that exists. An article should not be the company telling the world about itself, but rather be based on what others have said about it.

You said "we" would like to add a page, and that raises two issues:

  • Wikipedia accounts are for individuals only, and shared accounts are not permitted. If more than one of you wishes to edit, each must have their own account. Of course, it is fine if more than one of you discuss the input, as long as one person does the edits and takes responsibility for them.
Understand that no-one WP:OWNs a Wikipedia article - not its first editor and certainly not its subject. Others can and will edit it, and you will not be able to insist on your preferred version - any disagreements about content are settled by discussion on the article's talk page.

As you are have not much experience here, WP:Articles for creation is probably a good route to take anyway, to avoid the risk of premature deletion of an incomplete article like the previous one. JohnCD (talk) 12:00, 22 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
