Wounded Soldier
editHi, I thought you would like to know that I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Wounded Soldier, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Wounded Soldier. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Before deciding to remove the template, however, please see WP:NEO, as it appears this subject does not satisfy Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. Regards, Accurizer 09:35, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, this is in reply to the message you placed on my talk page. Before making this nomination, I attempted to verify whether the term was notable. However, my research led me to conclude that it appears to be a neologism, which should be avoided in Wikipedia, per WP:NEO. Also, Wikipedia is not a dictionary. I don't see how this subject could be more than a dictionary article. Perhaps you should present it at Wiktionary. In any event, if you object to its deletion, let me know and we can raise the matter at WP:AFD where the wider community would reach a consensus regarding whether or not the article should be kept. On a side note, please don't take the deletion process personally. Wikipedia is happy to accept your contributions that meet the inclusion criteria. Regards, Accurizer 20:30, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Removal of AfD tag for Wounded Soldier
editPlease do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism.
