The hexagonal chicken wire-like structure of the honeycomb

The term chicken wire in chemistry is used in different contexts. Most of them relate to the similarity of the regular hexagonal (honeycomb-like) patterns found in certain chemical compounds to the mesh structure commonly seen in real chicken wire.

You should add {{Fact}} to anything without a citation. But things that should be common knowledge shouldn't be tagged with this ok?

To use, type the two brackets and the word fact in between it like this: {{Fact}}. When you hit save, it should turn out like this:

At the top of your screen, you should see a tab next to the history page tab that says "move". Usually thats the way things are moved on Wikipedia. Sometimes it requires an admin to move it because of limitations to the move function. I'm not sure Persistent organic pollutant should be moved to Persistent Organic Pollutant though. Hey, I looked it up and it appears as though the article doesn't need to be moved. While the acroynm POP makes it all capital letters, I don't think it's a proper noun, so it should be left at Persistent organic pollutant. DGX 03:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
