Adoption
editSorry but I left a notice at the program that I wasn't adopting. I appreciate you doing all that though. Ask another time when the notice is gone.--RyRy5 talk 05:23, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi
editHey, I saw your comments on User talk:RyRy5 on I also saw he turned you down. Well, I'm technically not allowed to adopt but if you want to ask any questions, feel free to ask me! RC-0722 247.5/1 15:35, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, I got your message, and wanted to tell you that I am allowed to adopt users now, so if you like I'll adopt you.:) Also, you might want to use my talk page. All you do is press the + at the top of the screen. RC-0722 247.5/1 14:41, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- You can call pretty much anything you want. Um, if you want to know about me, then please read my userpage. If you want to know more, just ask. And yes, I'll adopt you. Do you accept? RC-0722 247.5/1 03:46, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Great! Now what would you like to know? BTW, I'll reply to anything in the morning (EST), as I have to go to bed now.:( RC-0722 247.5/1 03:54, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I hope this won't be a problem, but I'm not in college. When I said sophomore, I meant high school. I am in pretty much in advanced everything in school, though. My level of education is higher than most of the juniors in my school, as for my knowledge and experience, did you mean on here our elsewhere? By the way, I like your userpage. Sorry it took so long to reply, I read your posts earlier but I had classes. RC-0722 247.5/1 15:53, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, no problem. RC-0722 247.5/1 20:19, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- I try not over-complicate things. I like to apply my knowledge with some common sense. I like science, math, and history, but I'm not much of a scholar. I have a large vocabulary (which I have used to stun numerous people), which I can probably attribute to playing scrabble since I was 7 years old and being on a debate team. I like computers, and fixed a few in my lifetime. Hope that helps! RC-0722 247.5/1 20:39, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oops, I meant writer. And on the translation search, I don't know much about that, but you might try posting something on the article's talk page. RC-0722 247.5/1 02:25, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, probably getting rid of the japlish was a good idea. By the way, I don't really have that many contacts on here. And if you need anything else, just ask! RC-0722 247.5/1 02:55, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

re:Userpage
editI just mix and match. Like this: <font size="4"><small><small><small><font face="Logash" color="#EC5800"> produces the font size, font type, and color (in CSS colors, but you can use any type you wish). RC-0722 247.5/1 01:31, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm an American indian; specifically Muskogee (Creek). Also, you might want to ask somebody like User:Jj137 about the CVT thing, as he might know more about it than I do. RC-0722 247.5/1 02:04, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- No, just half. RC-0722 247.5/1 02:17, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Re:Cone Type CVTS
editSorry, I'm a little confused. Is this the original Japanese article you are referring to? jj137 (talk) 15:31, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- If you go to the Continuously variable transmission article, on the left-hand side (below the toolbox and the search bar), you will see the names of several different languages, all of which are that article in other languages. The sixth one down is in Japanese. jj137 (talk) 16:43, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, they aren't simply translations of the English article; Wikipedia is in over 250 languages, and each language has its own contributors and article writers (most articles aren't translated, simply written by native speakers of that language. Hence why some are so short). For example, we don't get all of our articles from simply a translation of es:. jj137 (talk) 19:14, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- I wouldn't say your username is confusing; that was referring to people who sign up with a username that is basically just completely random letters (like dschdfjhflejlejn). If you want to change your username, just go to WP:CHU and follow the directions described there. jj137 (talk) 19:32, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Toxic Ninja
editHey! RC-0722! How are you? Oops! It's past your bedtime--actually past mine, too. Anyway, I was checking out your user pages and stuff and came across a page full of colorful boxes with lots of writing and statements, presumably about you. Right? One of them had a Ninja picture on it--that picture is pretty cool. So I checked out the Toxic Ninja box. There's an amazing amount of information about the things you are or do. Even Polish, too? Well, you'd fit in over here, since half of the population (it seems) has Cech, Polish or German names. Amerind too. Even in Hawaii I had a Rising Sun male patient. At first my wife thought he was Korean--SUN is a common spelling of the phonetic SOON, often a Westernization of a Korean name. A famous prima ballerina in New York during the 60's was Maria (I think) Tall Chief. Very cool arrangement of information. Nice site--has brought back lots of pleasant memories. Thanks for adopting me, or I would not have found out about these things! And good night.--BudgieBirdChan0211 (talk) 03:51, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm doing pretty good. Yeah, those are the boxes that best describe me, and yes, I'm polish/german. And that's pretty cool, I didn't know there were a lot of polish over there. There aren't many Amerindians in CT though, so I'm kinda the odd man out. And no problem, if you need anything, just ask! By the way, sorry it took so long to reply, but I didn't see your comment here until just now. RC-0722 247.5/1 20:45, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, that makes sense. RC-0722 247.5/1 03:20, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Adoption
editHey, I forgot to mention earlier that I was blocked less than six months ago, and that you should probably get a co-adopter. RC-0722 247.5/1 00:30, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- I could co-adopt if you want. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 17:41, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's OK with me :) RC-0722 247.5/1 18:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Done I have now co-adopted you, per your acceptance on my talk page. Cheers! - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 15:59, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- See here, where when I adopted you it said adoptee's of recently (under six months) blocked users should inform their adoptees and suggest co-adoption. But don't quote on that :) RC-0722 247.5/1 16:07, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know how many people can adopt a single other user, but I'm glad you are in good hands. Cheers, Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 16:51, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
RC-0722 retired
editAs you are one of RC-0722 adoptees, I thought I let you know that he retired two days ago. Cheers, Face 08:40, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oh well, turned out he didn't retire after all. Cheers, Face 18:26, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
