Tagging pages for deletion
editHello, Bulklana,
I noticed that you tagged W.i.S.H. for a Proposed deletion 17 minutes after the article was created! 17 minutes is not enough time for an editor to create and develop an article, much less reference it properly. I just deleted another article that you tagged about 40 minutes after it was created. I understand you are not a new page patroller, but the rule of thumb for patrollers is that they should allow at least an hour after a page creator has stopped editing a brand new article before tagging it for any type of deletion, CSD, PROD or AFD. I'm sure if you had just created an article, you would not appreciate an editor quickly tagging it for deletion while you were still working on it.
Thank you for your consideration for your fellow content creators! If you have any questions about editing Wikipedia or its deletion processes, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thanks. Liz Read! Talk! 22:52, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. I'll try to be more careful in the future.Bulklana (talk) 08:32, 24 March 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Francisco Guinea
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Francisco Guinea, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello Bulklana. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Jaffer Khan, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bulklana. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bulklana|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 15:38, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:
Good afternoon. I apologize for letting the wikipedia administration think that I am an unscrupulous author for a number of reasons. I have thoroughly studied the rules of wikipedia for conflicts of interest and copyright, and in the future I undertake to fulfill them in full faith. Please pay attention to the large number of constructive edits and articles written by me. I want to continue to make useful contributions. Please unblock me and allow me to continue contributing to wikipedia. I promise to be more careful about conflicts of interest and copyrights from now on. Bulklana (talk) 17:52, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
We're going to need more than your word here, please demonstrate your understanding of what was wrong with your editing and what you will do differently. The main reason for the block is violating WP:PAID by not disclosing a paid editing relationship. 331dot (talk) 07:57, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Bulklana (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I understand the main reason for the blocking. I was actually asked to write an article and it appears that there is a conflict of interest. Yes, it was a bad article, I'm sure other editors will make it better if they see fit. For my part, I have familiarized myself with the rules and policies of wikipedia regarding conflict of interest and paid editing. ( WP:COI, WP:PAID) I think a good practice is not to get involved in topics that may have a conflict of interest at all. As you can see, I have a good history of editing existing articles and writing my own articles. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue to edit wikipedia. Bulklana (talk) 08:15, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
As was subsequently admitted to after this appeal was made, you were not honest in this appeal and have actually violated WP:PAID on a number of occasions. Trust is a hard thing to earn back once broken, and I believe that is this request has remained open so long. I don't think that this appeal shows an understanding how what a breach of trust this was on your part, so I am declining to unblock you at this time.Ponyobons mots 19:19, 27 September 2024 (UTC)

- The problem is that on May 1 a contractor on Upwork was hired to create an article on Graph Tech Guitar Labs, which you subsequently created the same day. The Upwork editor was then hired to add spam links for med.report on May 23, which you then added to HCPCS Level 2 [1], once again on the same day that the Upwork editor was hired. - Bilby (talk) 13:44, 18 August 2024 (UTC)

- Bulklana,
- This would be an amazing coincidence. I think the only way you will ever get a positive response to your unblock request is to be more forthcoming. Your word that you didn't do paid editing is insufficient with these incidents on Upwork. It's better (and probably your only hope) is to tell the truth, explain why what you did was not in accordance with Wikipedia's paid editing guidelines and describe how you will address this in the future. I can't see how else an admin will accept your request to be unblocked. Liz Read! Talk! 23:47, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- I've had a few paid edits, among them: link, an article on a guitar company, Madeleine Wade, Andrew Lowe. An article about doctor is not paid, I just saw this dude in a monitor advertising on Dubai airlines and thought since I'm writing a series about scientists, why not write about him.
- In the future, I will avoid paid editing and conflicts of interest. And according to wikipedia policy, in the case of paid editing, everyone should disclose this on user page by adding the following information: {{paid|employer=name of employer|client=name of client}} Bulklana (talk) 08:39, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
