Gentleman: My name is Burton Rubin. I invented e-z wider while attending Law School and it was some years later that I met Bob Stiller. I did all the research and business planning from my understanding and my education at the Stern School at NYU. Mr. Stiller invested the required funds for inventory. I left my Metals Trading position and worked solo at the company for 9 months before Mr. Stiller left his accounting position at Columbia University and joined the company actively.

    My responsibilities were sales and international purchasing. I traveled to Europe and the U.S. many times to put the business together. Mr. Stiller was responsible for Accounting, and Manufacturing once I negotiated with the French Company, Machines Chambon to buy an interleaving machine.

Some references: Chapter 19, in Larry Sloman's Book, "Reefer Madness", is basically an interview with me. The Wall St. Journal dated Tuesday, September 23, 1975 had a front page article titled "Around These Joints..." which details e-z wider.

Tobacco Reporter, Vol. 102 August 1975 described the deal I put together with Spain's Largest Cigarette

Business Week published in their Marketing Observer a short story about e-z wider on December 15, 1975 when our sales were $4.4 million. It was $10 million when we sold the company in 1980.

Forbes Magazine had a full page article in the February 6, 1978 issue.

I was invited, and spoke to the Wharton School of Business Graduate Club in Entrepreneurship in 1977 and have a photo.{{edit request}}

P.S. Mr. Stiller did not start Green Mountain. He bought it from the original owner.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Burt Rubin (talkcontribs) 14:07, 28 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

   Wrong venue   Please make your request on the talk page of the article where you're requesting that changes be made. It's not immediately clear from your post which page that is.  spintendo  21:58, 28 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
