Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Business expo center, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the page that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bagheera (talk) 21:17, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen (Business Expo Center) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Business expo center. Thank you. David1217 22:42, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, such as you did in the article Business expo center. Wikipedia is not the "Yellow Pages". If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. David1217 22:43, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I am assuming you are an employee of this expo center. If you are, you should not write this article, since you have a conflict of interest. The reason this article isn't suitable for Wikipedia is that is is not written from a neutral point of view. Quite frankly, it is written like an advertisement, and that is not something you can add to Wikipedia. You also recreated this article with the same content after it was speedily deleted, something you shouldn't do. David1217 23:52, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay I understand. If someone can write the article and have it sound the way the articles for the Anaheim, Long Beach, and Los Angeles Convention Centers sound, would that be acceptable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Business Expo Center (talkcontribs) 17:51, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that would be fine, as long as it had reliable sources establishing notability and was written from a neutral point of view. David1217 01:04, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
