, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. –MuZemike 20:18, 16 August 2010 (UTC)You were already warned that you cannot revoke your contributions under the CC-BY-SA license, but you refused to understand this. Not only can we not allow users to contribute to edit without this understanding, but you also made a clear and unambiguous legal threat here. If you withdraw your legal threats and your intentions to revoke your contributions, we will consider unblocking. Regards, –MuZemike 20:18, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
your reason here It appears that I wasn't making threats, only promises. However, if it is Wikipedia's position that some kid can violate my copyright, and I can't edit after that, PLEASE DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
Decline reason:
You have not retracted your legal threat. Wikipedia policy does not allow users to edit here while a legal threat (or "promise") is in place. The WordsmithCommunicate 20:30, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Like all working groups, Wikipedia's editing community has its own norms and approaches. We would not impose ours on any other person's writings or publications, but equally we would ask that others respect ours. As a writing community under a free license, inevitably some things will be different than you may be used to elsewhere.
We value free knowledge, once valid encyclopedia content is added it is not removed for any reason except strictly for being substandard, privacy breaching, defamatory, or similar. The edits you make and images of yours that you add, like those I make and anyone else, are attributed to you but become communally held and usable by anyone worldwide. The licenses are irrevocable once used. There are a range of policies that state this.
We do block while a legal threat or promise is in place. The reason is that as a voluntary collaboration, matters such as legal activity are so disruptive that it is considered best we all mutually agree not to make or hold such threats against others, or to not edit while any threat is open in order to reduce the chances of confrontation and escalation. The block will of course be removed the moment you agree to withdraw the above.
What I would ask is that you reconsider your feelings, and consider that you uploaded these images for a good reason, to help others and improve a charitable reference site of information. Their removal is more from upset, than because the wish to help others with your contributed images was wrong or won't be helpful.
While they are unlikely to be removed except for good cause, I would ask you to see this as a good thing. I hope you will rethink and continue to contribute to help others round the world. FT2 (Talk | email) 20:33, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding your email, we do not have a facility to delete accounts. That's for copyright requirement reasons also - our license requires us to attribute all edits to the author. That couldn't be done if the author could be deleted. So the software that runs the site does not contain a capability of deleting accounts. If you would like your account renamed to something anonymous, please post below and it will be done, which we can do instead. FT2 (Talk | email) 21:07, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- The user declined by email. There was other content to the email, but most of it was his views on various wiki-related matters. FT2 (Talk | email) 23:33, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation
editYour upload of File:C&BNbkCt.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Proposed deletion of Thomson North American Legal
editThe article Thomson North American Legal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
