File permission problem with File:Mongolian Air Force's MiG-21.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Mongolian Air Force's MiG-21.jpg, which you've attributed to http://www.photoblog.com/Bagabandi/2008/09/23. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 10:00, 16 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Mongolian Air Force

edit

Your ministry of defense page showing a picture of a Mi-24 does not provide written proof to their current use. A photo alone is consider “original research” therefore cannot be used. - globalfirepower.com states partial sourcing which includes “Wikipedia” and that not allowed per WP:CIRCULAR, and the armyrecognition.com has no sources of any kind, and refers to the “Mongolian Army” but the article in question is the Mongolian Air Force. Having said that we will leave it in for now per Flightglobal World Air Forces 2011/2012 - FOX 52 (talk) 20:27, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

• Very funny, Mongolia doesn't have 25 Mi-24 and 25 Mi-8/17. I just showed you that Flightglobal is unreliable source. Let's just leave it with information of Military Balance 2012. ( BTW Mongolian Air Force has already retired their An-26 in 2008. So you have to do more research about Mongolian Armed Forces. ) - Buuhai (talk) 05:57, 11 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

No, you have to show with a reliable source that they "don't have (25) Mi-24's and (25) Mi-8/17's" and their "An-26 retired in 2008" FOX 52 (talk) 16:43, 11 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

• Look at Flightglobal World Air Forces 2013 there wrote that Mongolian Airforce has got 10 Mi-24 and 13 Mi-8/171 and what about The Military Balance 2012. — P. 267.? The Military Balance is reliable source. BTW in Mongolian Air Defence there are no text which shows numbers of equipments and SIPRI didn't noticed that Mongolian Air Defence has got 150 ZPU-4. ZPU-4, ZU-23-2 and S-60 are together 150. So please correct your mistakes. - Buuhai (talk) 06:04 , 12 February 2015 (UTC)

• Please don't do anything like this again ! Unless you correct your mistakes. - Buuhai (talk) 9:32 , 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Mongolian Air Force‎‎

edit

Hi,

I undid your edit to the Mongolian Air Force‎‎ article because the use of flag templates is against the style guidelines at WP:AVLIST. So after that I restored your changes to the country of origin - again per the style guide, which this time agrees with you. I hope I have not upset you with my revert. If I did so, please accept my apology. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 13:51, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

ESEAP Conference 2018

edit

Hello Buuhai,

I’m Irvin from PhilWiki Community, a member of the Communication Committee of the ESEAP Conference. ESEAP Conference 2018 is a regional conference for Wikimedia communities throughout the ESEAP region: ESEAP stands for East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific. Taking place in Bali, Indonesia on 5–6 May 2018, this is the first regional conference for these Wikimedia communities.

East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific are the most under-represented regions within the Wikimedia community. There is a significant number of Wikimedia contributors in our regions, yet we continue to struggle in establishing a well-managed community. This conference will bring participants from various ESEAP communities together in order to better understand the issues and to look for solutions. It also aims to connect people of the Wikimedia movement within ESEAP regions, to share ideas, and to build regional collaborations that are impossible to achieve through online communication.

We’ve got a lot of participation from several countries, but we’re lacking from your country. As we need more participants from your country, we believe that your contribution and participation would be a valuable asset to the success of this event. If you would like to participate in the conference, please do fill the form as soon as possible (by April 5, 2018) and we’ll inform you if you get selected for the conference.

Thank you and we hope to see you soon. --Filipinayzd 16:20, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
