Battle Royale

edit

Removing a direct link to the movie "Battle Royale" when users type "Battle Royale" at the search is not good. Put in a link to the movie on that page somehow, perhaps as others have suggested on the talk page? Jok2000 13:02, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Uh, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Bwhack 06:14, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well you fixed it, so the point is moot. Thanks. Jok2000 20:29, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguating Britain

edit

Hi, I notice that in your disambiguation of the Alan Keef article you inadvertently replaced it the entire contents of the article with a different one here. Just a word of warning to be careful not to let this happen again. Thanks, 00:46, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Oh crap. I'll do my best to prevent doing this again. Bwhack 03:21, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Riki Takeuchi

edit

I'm separating the article about the actor and the article about the character. I found info about Takeuchi from a fan site. WhisperToMe 02:30, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good. :) Bwhack 03:21, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also, next time, please use Wikipedia:Redirects for Deletion; I have a feeling you did not use Speedy delete properly. If someone examined the case, or she would find that the redirects were there for a reason. WhisperToMe 02:42, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the tip, I didn't realize there was a process dedicated to redirects. :) Bwhack 03:21, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nearly 600 to choose from and you take the one that I was starting on? I'm not really mad, but I was looking forward to that a bit and I did invest some time up front that is now wasted. I would think you could have waited a day to give me a chance to finish it. Oh well. --After Midnight 0001 20:57, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Aww, I didn't mean to do that. It looked like an interesting one to disambiguate, though. Bwhack 02:38, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Arbidol

edit

Hi, why did you put disambiguate link for the article Arbidol?? It said you redirected to Oral, but has nothing to do with it, except that it is administrated orally. And it is not the only one, so why did you choose this article? I don't get it. Svetlana Miljkovic 02:14, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Haha, sorry for the ambiguous summary... Guess I should disambiguate my summary first! :) I was disambiguating a link that was on the Arbidol article that was linking to oral, which is a disambiguation page and doesn't offer an explanation of the linked word. WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request

edit

This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 21:59, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Health Wiki Research

edit

A colleague and I are conducting a study on health wikis. We are looking at how wikis co-construct health information and create communities. We noticed that you are a frequent contributor to Wikipedia on health topics.

Please consider taking our survey here.

This research will help wikipedia and other wikis understand how health information is co-created and used.

We are from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The project was approved by our university research committee and members of the Wikipedia Foundation.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
