Bicycle
editThanks for your rewrite of the Activism section of the Bicycle page. The new version is a definate improvement. Phidauex 17:20, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Vehicular cycling
editGday Bruce, thanks for the excellent job you have done on the 'look back' section. I think you've nicely captured, and balanced ('look back' and mirrors), the issues. I don't suppose many folk will 'learn' how to ride a bicycle by first consulting Wiki, but I hope that some existing cyclists who come here might be inspired (and your neat summation helps here) to think about and 'try out' new ways of staying safe on the road. Cheers, Tban 11:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Affirmative action in the United States
editIf, as currently appears to be the case, User:Psychohistorian insists on me starting an RFC on his conduct instead of accepting mediation, will you be willing to join me in that? To start an RFC requires that at least two parties say that they have tried and failed to work out the problem with the person. - Jmabel | Talk 02:31, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- I've answered you on my talk page so as not to split this up too much. - Jmabel | Talk 04:52, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- I've answered you again on my talk page. Thanks. - Jmabel | Talk 04:07, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- So.... is anything happening on mediation (please reply on my talk page, if possible). - Jmabel | Talk 01:28, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
This is what I posted on the talk page. Since you put up the title dispute tag, I thought I should let you know seperately.
- This article seems to be discussing the relationship between race and crime as a whole, not just criminal convictions. For example, this article could discuss racial profiling and other crime-related measures that don't necessary have anything to do with the way crimes are prosecuted (but have to do with crime in general). I think it's important to make the title of articles as broad as possible, so I think the current title is better than "Race and criminal convictions". Then if there's too much information having to do with criminal convictions, we can go ahead and create a subarticle titled Race and criminal convictions. Your thoughts on this?
Thanks. Sofeil 23:19, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

John Forester and the California Bikeway program
editHi the Segregated cycle facilities page is due a bit of a clean up. The thought occurs that the material on Forester and the Cross Fisher studies dominates a bit and might merit truncating and possibly relocating within the article. Any objections? --Sf (talk) 17:48, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- No objections. Thanks for asking! --Wiley (talk) 13:26, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
