I've responded to your queries on the article's talk page. BlinkingBlimey (talk) 15:38, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm responding to your comments on the article's talk page here, since it is more appropriate to respond here.
Don't worry about it. One of Wikipedia's rules is that you assume good faith. I'm sure no-one will hold it against you! You certainly shouldn't blank the page having got to the stage you have - and I'm sorry if I gave you that impression. Additionally, you did it without logging on, so it will not be associated with your username, and would have looked like vandalism because you were an anonymous user.
If you want I will make an offer of doing a lot of work on your article. This is not purely altruistic, I've been asked for some examples of articles I've undertaken significant work on by my adoptor. I can't guarantee that it will result in an article that meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines, but it will get you along the way of meeting the style issues. Let me know if you are interested.
On another topic, when you reply to messages the usual practice is to indent from the previous editors comments. You can do this by adding a colon : to each line. Each colon indents a little further; like this:
This line starts with ::
This line starts with :::
This line starts with ::::
It generally makes the page easier to read. If and when it gets too long someone just returns to the start and the addition of colons begins again! BlinkingBlimey (talk) 16:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I may have indented this line too far to the right, but thanks for the pointers, there. Your offer would be of great help. I'm presuming, based on the spirit of Wikipedia, that you'd be doing this free of charge. Frankly, I'm of the opinion that additions made to the page since you tagged it sufficiently prove that Siciliano is notable enough for the site: Scores of print media articles have quoted him, and he's appeared on television, not to mention radio, as an authority in his areas of expertise frequently, stretching back a decade. Furthermore, he's been cited in a number of books, contributed to the development of others, and published two of his own. From what I understand, his IMBd site indicates that he has also recently been filmed for a pilot reality television program that focuses on personal security issues. What do you think?
The wikifying part of this process is what's confusing me; maybe you could help with that. I don't know if it's possible to remove the "notability is in question" tag for the time being, but if so, that might be useful until it's completely wikified; then the decision on whether to reattach that tag could be made. Let me know what you think. Thanks! Bws1971 (talk) 15:23, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
