There was a reason for including it
editYes, there actually was a reason for including it—Gaon hadn't updated at the time I updated it, hence the need for the additional source. Seems like you're annoyed you didn't get to update it first. Can't say I've ever seen an editor feel the compulsion to remove a source two minutes after Gaon updates. Ss112 02:04, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Ss112: I'm so sorry, I thought Gaon update an hour ago, that's why I deleted it because I thought someone forgets about it. I didn't look at previous edits, will start to see them each time after this. And no, I'm not annoyed at all. Sorry, my English isn't that good. Byy2 (talk) 02:11, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Hello. Help improvements. Thanks you. Semwq (talk) 06:37, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I don't really understand about this kind of topic. Also, it would be hard to search for references because I don't know Japanese. Sorry. Thank you for understanding. Byy2 (talk) 06:44, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
February 2022
editHello, I'm Ss112. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mark Lee (singer), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ss112 02:25, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- My suggestion is if you can't be bothered to provide an actual source or update an article properly when you add a chart position, to stop adding them. The generic link to gaonchart.co.kr at Mark Lee (singer) did not prove the peak of "Child" and you should know this. I check basically every new Korean chart position every week, and so I'll end up seeing your edits and reverting you if you continue to add unsourced peaks. Ss112 02:31, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- My bad. I will not doing the same mistake in the future. Thank you for correcting. Byy2 (talk) 02:35, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Abbreviations of countries do not need to be their exact country codes
editI see you've gone around changing any instance of Malaysia's abbreviation "MLY" in columns to "MYS" per Malaysia's official three-letter country code. Contrary to popular belief, all abbreviations of country names on Wikipedia do not need to be their official country codes. Where official country codes are being used, then yes, but there is no such guideline to do this for chart columns on discographies. If there were, every instance of Spain, more commonly seen as "SPA", would be changed to "ESP", and Switzerland, more commonly seen as "SWI", would be "CHE", which next to nobody understands. If they're understood that is good enough. "MYS" is less recognisable than "MLY". Ss112 09:46, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm so sorry for this. I didn't know. So, should i undo all my changes then? Byy2 (talk) 01:52, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
Jamie Miller (Singer) chart position removal
editHi, was there a reason why you removed the chart positions and countries to the song Lost Myself In Loving You? 2A02:C7E:281:7900:39E1:C79F:79A0:FD0B (talk) 23:35, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I deleted some of them because there are no reliable reference of the song charting at that time. Feel free to add them with the reference needed. Thanks! Byy2 (talk) 01:16, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Kim Min-seok (singer, born 1991)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kim Min-seok (singer, born 1991) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fram (talk) 16:04, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
Changing url-status= in citations
editHello. I notice that on Nmixx, you changed the url-status= in the Billboard Korea K-pop Hot 100 citation from url-status=dead to url-status=unfit. It's not unfit, because "unfit", like "usurped", indicates the URL is now spam or redirects to a site with advertising/malware on it and disables the original link. Linking to the website is still fine, so it's better to leave it as dead= as the information that was at the URL but no longer is, is for all intents and purposes gone—or dead—because the Billboard Korea website does not archive the dates. Ss112 12:05, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oh is it? I just knew it now. Thank you for the information, will remember that from now on. --Byy2 (talk) 22:35, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
Please try to focus on the world outside of Asia for American singers
editThe fact that you ignored Sanchez charting in Canada, the UK, the US and on the Global 200 to have two charts each for Malaysia and Singapore is bizarre to say the least. Especially for an American singer. We would never exchange micro-markets like Singapore and a Malaysian chart that only includes streaming figures for non-Malaysian songs for the bigger music markets of the world. Please try to focus on the world outside of Asia for American singers. Even if you don't know the charts, at least consider that the act whose article you're editing may have charted on them. Thanks. Ss112 14:28, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- In my defense, I'm just trying to fill the ones that already exist on the article and others that associated with them since most of them are parts of the "Hits of the World" charts. I didn't know the song already charted on those countries you mentioned since most of the times people would update like in a minute after the newest list came out. But I will look out for those things next time. Byy2 (talk) 06:45, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
Don't include url-status= in un-archived citations
editHi. Including the url-status= parameter in a citation that does not have archive parameters in it causes a maintenance error (which one can see in the box at the top of the page if they preview their edit before saving), so please leave it out. Thanks. Ss112 03:00, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, I will not doing that no more next time. Byy2 (talk) 03:09, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Weeekly wecan 2020.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Weeekly wecan 2020.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:57, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
You provided a wrong info about the number of viewers and source, it also seems a copy-paste. I already removed it so please refrain from doing that. — 9️⃣8️⃣🐯♒️•(🆃🅰🅻🅺) 08:57, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I meant to provide this one instead. Is this one right? Byy2 (talk) 11:15, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- No, that link is for Metropolitan (Seoul) and it does not use to put in Template:Television ratings graph. — 9️⃣8️⃣🐯♒️•(🆃🅰🅻🅺) 11:49, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- My bad, then. Thanks for informing this! Byy2 (talk) 12:10, 24 February 2023 (UTC)

March 2023
editHello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Lightoil (talk) 04:00, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
- Will do in the near future. Thank you for the advice! Byy2 (talk) 10:46, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
WP:REPEATLINKING doesn't apply to citations; language= param
editRegarding your edits to Korean chart data, even if Circle Chart is linked in one citation, it should still be linked in separate citations. Also, the language= parameter can refer to any prominent language used on the page. Therefore, language=ko is still valid. It might be preferred to say language=en, ko (as a comma separating the languages is acceptable per Template:Cite web) but you shouldn't be removing language=ko, as a significant part of the website is still in Korean. Thanks. Ss112 03:00, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Noted. Thank you for taking time to tell me these! Byy2 (talk) 09:35, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
